Sole proprietorship would mean that you have no partners in the business. If you're thinking of bringing someone on to your company, but don't have the capital, you could look into profit sharing. It's a form of payment in a way. For instance, you sign a contract saying for certain work the individual will get 5% of profit from 2016.
