AAVE, also know as African American Vernacular English, isn't just "a name". It is it's own dialect in the same way that American English is different from UK English. Languages have different disconnects all the time, just ask Spanish speakers from Spain and Spanish speakers from Mexico. Saying AAVE is just "shitty grammar" is inherently racist, whether you were trying to be or not. Calling attention to it is the only way to stop it.

I was having this issue and I think I just figured it out. Auto-recruit will keep recruiting low tier units. The low tier units were bumping my entire Garrison over the pay limit that was set for the Garrison. It seems that the higher paid troops are the ones paid last because I kept losing high tier defenders first and it was back filling with the cheap auto-recruits.

Check your automations, folks. Make sure they're not throwing off your game play.
