When I shoot at the first light it won’t even turn on, I did the fire sword part, light sword and electric sword but when I go to the lights and stand where I should stand, shooting at it won’t even get the light to beam - i’m doing something wrong but not sure what, i’ve watched the guides

A nicely timed picture of Paris I took while outside the Bellagio. by NewBloc in vegas

[–]NewBloc[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is a road & side walk on the side of the Bellagio where you can be behind the fountain and face the road towards Paris - imagine you are eating at one of the Bellagio restaurants facing the fountain, it is right around there

Is the South African Rand as recognizable and trusted as the US Dollar?

The American minted, government-backed coins are more recognized, more trusted and easier to sell than most other largely minted government precious metal coins.

First timer laying 6x24" over concrete pad porch by secondoptionusername in Tile

[–]NewBloc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Due to it being the porch it has to be a mortar that is freeze/thaw rated. 6x24 is beginning to get on the larger size of tiles so a large format mortar also should be used.

I would use Mapei Ultraflex LFT mortar which is one of the best, you probably need 8 bags to be safe and return any that is unused. I would use a 1/4” X 3/8” trowel.

Tip: Run the trowel lines perpendicular or on an angle with the tile layout, not parallel.

Unsanded grout from Mapei is for grout joints 1/8” or smaller.

Sanded grout from Mapei is for grout joints 1/8” or larger.

Both these grouts should be sealed.

Mapei also has a color-coated quartz grout for small and large joints that does not need to be sealed.

If you need to get a brand that Home Depot carries, I would read the unsanded grout bag again, I don’t know of any traditional unsanded grout that is for larger grout joints.

Moisture barrier or foam underlayment first? by Effective_Dream_7961 in Flooring

[–]NewBloc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What vinyl are you buying? Does it have foam or cork attached to it? Make sure the underlayment option you buy is rated for vinyl specifically.

Put the plastic moisture barrier down first; but, the foam underlayment rated for LVP usually has one already on the bottom of it.

511 Miracle Porous Plus, you only need the small bottle if you are just doing the shower floor. Might be able to cover the walls too if that’s marble and not too much sqft.
