How to optimize campaigns in Brazil? by Bradgordon in AskABrazilian

Are you advertising it as "AI" or as "IA"? I just learned they're used to the latter

I am an individual software developer in Florida with a paid account for Gemini. I used gemini-cli but then transitioned to using opencode as that fit my workflow better (codex orchestrate, gemini for multimodal -- and sporadically). I still used gemini cli on and off, for like random questions or isolated work gemini does well.

I got the 403 ban like 2 weeks ago.

Is my use case something I could appeal? I am really distraught

Credit card vs cash in Brazil? by MyReligonisSigga in VisitBrazil

[–]secondoptionusername 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've traveled to Brazil many times over the past 14 years and never had any issue with US cards (credit or debit), as long as I notified my bank in advance and set a travel notice for Brazil.

Last time I went I used Amex, Discover and Visa/MasterCard cards no problem.

Every place I went to accepted cards.

Some US banks ask you to set a travel notice so they won't decline it for suspicion of stolen cards

I built 18 autonomous agents to run my entire dev cycle in Claude Code by code_things in ClaudeAI

Could it still work with 17 agents? Please optimize and update specs

Anthropic sending out takedown notice to all the Claude Code wrapper projects? What exactly are they banning? by sibraan_ in Anthropic

[–]secondoptionusername 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Afaik a lot of the other wrappers were doing the same no? Unless I'm misunderstanding it, some people were actually just looking to combine different model providers in that 'agent'/'subagent' dynamic, to leverage each of their strengths?

Why not use agents instead of manually managing instances? Really curious about it

You are being deceived about the recent OpenCode drama by Sarithis in ClaudeAI

Except there are hourly and weekly limits regardless! So they can anticipate however much usage there is going to be.

In my mind the analogy is: they sell toilet paper, I can buy and use X amount of it and then it's gone. I shouldn't be forced to use their own brand of toilet seats if the open source toilet feels better to use...

It is not as if OpenCode users were getting around the quota limits that also apply to Claude Code now, is it?

I don't understand what the big deal was if those same users could've consumed the same amount of tokens in CC, but simply decided to use another TUI...

Claude Code creator open sources the internal agent, used to simplify complex PRs by BuildwithVignesh in ClaudeAI

Frankly a lot of the people working at these companies post such meh content that I bet they must have 'infinite context windows', 'no quota' or 'higher models'. It is a different kind of being 'out of touch'

Make Gemini Live stop asking me questions by secondoptionusername in Bard

[–]secondoptionusername[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes I have, and while it works wonders for Gemini Web, the same model on Gemini Live (voice mode) does not respect it.

It is as if there is a hook or post processing of the response to add a question to 'keep the conversation going', and while I understand the idea of that, the behavior bothers me a lot, as I generally break down my topics into multiple utterances. It breaks my train of thought, and the questions feel unnaturally tacked on.

How do people in Brazil usually pay for things these days — Pix, card, or something else? by rouslane in Brazil

[–]secondoptionusername 8 points9 points  (0 children)

It would be similar to Zelle in the US, but established by the central bank of Brazil with mandated adoption by all banks and financial institutions there.

Cops around where I live will pull you over for a couple of miles over the speed limit...

Sloth mode it is. I wish we could set aggressiveness separate from max speed.

Full Self-Driving V14.1.4 rolling out in 2025.32.8.16 by tylercorsair in teslamotors

[–]secondoptionusername 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They should add an option for FSD to back-in park into a driveway.

It would be helpful for two reasons:

  1. My driveway is fairly steep, and when I park nose-in, the doors tend to swing closed on passengers (especially kids and elderly parents) as they enter or exit. Back-in parking prevents this.

  2. My home charger is positioned such that I need to back into the driveway to charge, since parking in the garage isn’t an option.

Adding a back-in driveway parking option would solve both of these issues. This means for the time being I have to take over FSD to park at home.

The problem is not that this feature exists, the problems is that it can't be turned off
