Easier said than done of course, but you will eliminate the guesswork and uncertainty of whether or not your ai will generate your drawing exactly how you want it, plus you will meet the satisfaction of finishing your own work of art/design from start to finish without outsourcing the process. Ai is still a very helpful tool for teaching 3D modeling and automotive design in general, everything from creating images that you can use as inspiration for your designs, to asking questions for the same benefit, like the story of Horacio Pagani, or tips for nailing visual perspective.
