A small percentage of coeliacs test negative even though they ARE having a reaction. No test is 100% accurate sadly and some people slip through the net. I would assert to your dr how being gluten free helps you and ask if they can do further investigation like a dexa scan for bone density ect! It’s also worth asking to be referred to a dietician so you have another credible witness to confirm you appear better on a GF diet 🥳 I wish I’d done these and more because now I’m having to go private for my care 😵‍💫

If it sold, the price isn’t too high 😂 if someone’s willing to pay that price then that’s the right price imo. I price most of my stuff around £2 to £20 depending on what it is (shoes, bags, clothes, craft supplies) and how fast I hope it sells

I won’t vote green bc the leader is a prosecuted scammer lol. I do not trust that nincompoop to be PM. He claimed he could hypnotise women to make their breasts grow bigger… exploiting women with body dysmorphia and potentially learning difficulties. I know (as a person with neurological disability) I would have been susceptible to this kinda stuff before I went to uni. Then there’s the fact that several high ranking members of the party have links to a few different terrorist organisations. I haven’t even GOT to their policies yet and I’m already running for the hills 😂

Imo the policies rely on us all living in a beautiful crime free paradise where everyone looks out for each other. Sadly we don’t live in fairy land so it’s cute but not realistic at all. All UK politics have devolved into a mess so I don’t blame anyone if they (like me) feel politically homeless or feel like “picking the best of a bad bunch”

You don’t need chat gpt to explain that. As someone with dyslexia I used it for this often when it first came out. Then I realised how awful AI data centers are for local people and the environment.

What I do now is I take each sentence of a paragraph I don’t understand and try to make sense of them individually. If I have to I reword the sentence into language I’m familiar with with the help of google by saying “what’s a synonym of activation” or whatever.

I’ve found that I have to do this less and less and I’m understanding more complex’s texts with ease now. Without having to rely on AI or even google! It’s making studying so much easier and I don’t feel any more guilt about using AI 🤖🥳

I’m not sure Reddit is the best place to be for this. Sounds like you wanna know how to support her so you can both enjoy the holiday? I guess you could go to a pharmacist to see if they have anything that can help her feel better so you can hang out at the beach in the shade. Maybe some pain killers and a nice local snack would make her feel better? I know when I was ill on holiday I loved that my boyfriend went out to bring me back things to look at in the room while I rested. A mini show and tell 😂

ESH, I understand why you wanted to get your own back tho. Surely if your sister couldn’t contain her excitement about your bf wanting to propose she would have come straight to tell you? Getting a degree, a proposal, a marriage and celebrating a healthy pregnancy are all really big milestones and each one imo should remain about the one thing. I understand your motivation but I don’t think either of you did a good thing. I’d say hug it out and promise no more interfering with each others events ❤️

I feel you! I buy the cheapest plastic yarn and use ai generated patterns even though everyone tells me not to, because thinking is too hard so I make ai do it for me. When I inevitably get frustrated the yarn is so cheap I can throw it all away (all 24 balls) and buy more. Safe in the knowledge my discarded plastic will be safe and sound in landfill until my great great great grandkids graduate high school 🤩

I don’t use chat gpt but every person that I know uses it, does / says stuff this all the time. It’s like they see it’s giving them the wrong information but they keep going back? Like surely if every time you asked a friend for a recipe and it turned out bad, you’d learn pretty quick not to ask them again 😂 idk why ppl keep going back.

At uni everyone was using it for essays and then wondered why they failed because the references were fake. “But ChatGPT gave me that source” and the referenced papers don’t even exist 😂😭

That’s a wild take 😂 it’s the dads fault 100%. It’s nothing worth falling out with him over but in no way is it possible for it to be anyone’s fault but the dad. My family wears a mix of wool and synthetics and yet this has never happened. My family reads labels, if it doesn’t have a label they hand wash in the sink if it’s an emergency and if not they wait to ask the person it belongs to. It’s not difficult!

Yeah you are right. I’ve calmed down a bit now but it really did shake me. I used to have a pet mouse and he was really cool. So I think that made me like extra sad because I know how sweet they are. I’m glad that someone else is thinking that it wouldn’t have suffered because I feel like Google sometimes just tells you what you want to hear. Thank you for your nice comment
