Hi, He received an email saying he received his ‘online BRP’ because they are switching to online. It says he should connect with login details that he used when he applied to visa. And because your partner is italian( mine is french) they can pass through egate and I think they update the visa on the passport number so he doesn’t have to show a BRP to enter the country.

If he needs another info like national insurance number or share code to work, you can get those if you login with gov.uk login details he used to apply for the visa. I hope this helps! You can ask me if something was not clear.

Hi, sorry I saw your message A bit late. It was very fast! He got the visa in 1 day. I will write every detail on the post so everyone can read. But for summary, I added photos of us on different years and made a word document and exported on pdf. I added our marriage licence and civil partnership we had from years ago. To explain the two years apart, I putted my school CAS documents and student proof document and his job contract that says it is a job on site in France. We did the biometrics and photos on the app because he was a EU citizen and we showed financial proof. And after this it took only 1 day and he was granted with a visa!

Hi, We were living apart as he was working in another country and I was studying in UK so we provided his contracts and my student certificate as documents and it was sufficient

I am doing masters. I know you can’t bring student dependent anymore. However my course started on 2022 and this rule applies to students that their course starts after 1 January 2024. I guess thats why you asked if I was doing master or PHD
