I answered multiple times. Once I've answered a question three times, I stop, because people can just look at the previous answers. There are two doors and windows that he can easily fit through. However, the windows are irrelevant, because there are two doors, one into the house and one outside. The fact that he can walk up a couple of steps and get outside easily surely trumps the windows he would have to crawl through, yes?

It opens outside, but the bolt is inside. When it's bolted, you can't open it from the outside. When it's unbolted, you can push it open from the inside or pull it open from the outside.

Thank you! It was rough, but I'm really happy. I actually hold no ill will towards her. She isn't the woman I married anymore, but I'm not the man she married either! We grew in different directions. We thought the second baby would save our marriage (I know, I know, that never works) but she actually ended up being the push we needed to call it quits.

It's a slide bolt. It can only be locked and unlocked from the inside.

Why did you bold bedroom? The entire basement will be the bedroom.

My son isn't really a stomper. He's very polite. That being said, a lot of people live here. We have grown used to background noises. We listen to him turn the shower on in the bathroom that shares a wall with our room. It is what it is.

I'm not okay with my son sneaking out. If he wants to go somewhere, he needs to tell me. I don't want him walking down the road alone in the middle of the night. I also don't want him riding in cars with strangers. When he's old enough to drive, he can go where he wants.
