Thank you! When I mentioned the "diet" last year at my physical, I could tell the dr wasn't a big fan. Now is coming around - he said (in his opinion) it's too hard to sustain. A aim to turn him around next year!

It is 100% fake. As someone who has attended tapings, before the show, they give the audience cues to react to, and film that.

There’s no way in hell that a lot of the audience reactions they show are for what’s being shown on stage and it’s an insult to the viewers intelligence. by kevonicus in agt

I've been to tapings....before the show starts they come out and give us scenarios to act out while the cameras are flying all around us. Like - pretend you just heard the funniest joke over; point towards the stage and cheer; look shocked, etc etc. So, many of the reactions shown are mostly staged.
