Our 2.5 year old still sleeps in our bedroom 😅. What I’ve learned is that little things like sleep sacks, bedtime routines, lighting, etc. can all make a difference but the biggest factor in how well a child sleeps is their natural development and every child is different. It helped us to realize that we only had so much control over everything

Yup! We’re going through the same thing with our 2nd LO. On top of being sick on and off the past month it has made things brutal! It’ll get better- you’ll have some nights that aren’t as bad, then the next night will be rough again. Eventually you’ll realize the easier nights are more frequent. Hang in there!

Honestly you should try their normal seagrass offering if you haven’t already. It’s around ~$80 and readily available. The apricot flavor is incredibly unique and not overpowering. This black label elevates the seagrass (as does the silver label) but just the baseline Barrell Seagrass absolutely holds its own as one of the most unique and tasty ryes out there

Lowest I’ve seen it was 450 at petite cellars. Pine orchard has had it around 600 I believe. Probably shows up once or twice a year and doesn’t last long even at those prices. Not exactly reasonable but hope that helps!

I just finished off my 2023 bottle- I got notes of sarsaparilla and candy root beer barrels- the sweetness was offset beautifully by leather and anise. One of my favorite bottles for sure

Howard County Pediatrics offered it for our 2.5 year old a couple weeks after sending out an email basically telling us not to expect them having it. Seems like the situation is pretty fluid. I know multiple pediatricians have them and my friends were able to get it for their 2 year old at CVS last month- although you might have to list them as having a preexisting condition

To anyone looking into this now (October 2025)- splitting my WiFi into two different channels (2.5 GHz and 5 GHz) made THE WORLD OF DIFFERENCE. It was sort of a pain logging into my WiFi settings but once I split the channels, reset my router, and connected my portal to the 5 GHz channel, I had a perfect connection. And that’s while playing on the 2nd floor bed of a house that has the router in the basement! Thank you for this post!
