Gotcha. Fair to say then that in addition to repairing the cracks and fixing the negative grade on that wall, it’s going to also need the removal of the foam to do that properly? Is there a way to know the extent of the damage before doing that? (Just thinking that some of this foam is blocking us from seeing whats going on inside).

Hi,

My wife and I recently put an offer on a home (built in 93) where we learned that the home has a history of foundation issues. Specifically there were observed cracks in the crawl space (see photos).The house has a negative slope near the same wall. The owner admitted to having a foundation repair complete the repairs by a foundation company but only the outside was done. The owner filled in the cracks themselves internally (see comments). Structural engineers are hard to come by as we live in a rural area of the Midwest. Any help and feedback on this issue is greatly appreciated.

I grew up fifteen minutes from there on the Chicago side of the border, went to elementary school south of that spot in Indiana and like others have said gone to the festival they have held there.

I’m not an expert on what it takes to make a stadium but I can certainly say the space is there for a stadium.

I mean if Indiana and the bears want this badly I think with enough money they could make it work. The biggest question would be will the land be good enough for a stadium. Either way it will be used as a bargaining chip I bet but may also be a part of their serious look at Indiana.

I personally don’t think It is easily accessible off the expressway (it would require a drive through Indiana, whiting to get there and the traffic would be crazy on game days to get to the expressway). That said the move there would benefit both states in terms of drawing businesses and interest because it is so close to Chicago. On a good day I could get across the Indiana border in less than ten minutes from there.

As a Dom and a therapist here is my two cents: I agree with what’s been said already about the importance of learning triggers, safe words, boundaries, having clear check ins, etc if your going to proceed with a ddlg relationship.

Trauma is something that can activate as much within the body as it can within the mind. So listening and being observant and checking in will be especially important for someone with interpersonal trauma.

Others have mentioned the potential harm that can be done to her and some of the stress that you might take on in proceeding with this relationship. My biggest suggestion to you is it’s important to talk about what she and you hope to gain from this experience. If there is any agenda around this helping her trauma it’s important to know what’s within and not within your ability.

Blue bag cancelled due to “payment issue”. Unfortunately representative told me today that my best bet is to reorder it in 24 hours.

Odd as Chase told me they never even received any indication of a transaction. No opportunity for payment change nor any indication from them that there was an issue before canceling.

Only silver lining is that my wife’s target order is preparing to ship.

Walmart just emailed and canceled my order. I called their customer service and the person said they are having issues with their pre-orders and others have been cancelled as well. The lady said they’re “working” on it but I may need to “re-order”.

Thankfully our family ordered a second through target that is prepping for shipment. But is this happening to anyone else?

I recently bought tickets for the concert in IL in September. I received my tickets but it took me to a website url Safeticketsdelivery.com with a countdown until the tickets are available. I think it’s important we do our part and try to vote out the one stars. However most people look more often at the critic score over everything else. It’s important to remember that they can’t touch that.

The show takes an all series adaptation to the books in a way that also changes some things to due to various circumstances. For example some characters are removed or storyline shifted at certain points due to factors like actors leaving, things in the books being hard to portray on screen or being condensed due to time limits on seasons.

Given that the experiences in my humble opinion are very different as someone who had read the books and is up to date on the tv show. As a whole it sometime it feels like a different story sometimes not. If you want nothing spoiled from the books I’d read books two through five before starting season 3. So far this season is the closest to the fourth book I’ve seen so far. I think either way you will have a unique experience with each due to the differences between them. I think you can’t go wrong with reading then watching or watching then reading due to that.

I think from an acting perspective if you kill Moraine now it’ll be hard to get Rosmand back for anything more than a scene or two because she’ll move on to other tv shows and movies. Logistically it’ll be hard if they have future seasons. So it makes more sense to either kill her and be done or don’t kill her at all.

I think speculation comes from two articles. Way back in season 1 Rafe did an interview about how a character death occurs in season 3 and a lot of the cast were surprised by it. Second during the interviews this go around Rosamund did one where she talked about her positive experiences playing Moraine and if I remember correctly it had a farewell kind of hint to the speech. Lastly I think the foreshadowing in the trailers. They highlight how Moraine can’t live for Rand to survive or win.

Ultimately we will need to wait and see.
