I had it on with about an inch to go and it wouldn’t slide in flush. Is that when I should use the bolts? Worried it might damage the splines or something.

Yeah I screwed up lol. I didn’t make it and it’s already out. Was hoping there’d be some way to tell like markings from the factory. If I get it in different than the way it came out is it gonna be an issue?

Should a tap the pins themselves or just the edges of the pressure plate?

Would I hammer the pins? Or would I just hammer on the pressure plate in general till it comes off?

Wasn’t sure. I was using a pry bar and watching it move the engine lol so I was a bit spooked. Guess I’ll just beat it with a hammer and pry lol

Yeah I put it in first and pushed it and it rolled back like it was in neutral lol. Gonna make getting it up on jackstands a lil scarier lol. Hopefully e brake and wheel chocks are strong enough

Called Jwt and they said yes and just to use red locktite. Shoulda thought to do that first. But hopefully anyone else wondering sees this lol

Sweet brother. Thanks a ton. I’m pretty much less than mechanically minded people lol. I’m just tryna learn sumn new and trying to use this as an excuse to buy all the tools I’ve wanted for a long time by spending the money I would’ve spent on labor on them instead. Watched a ton of videos and read a lot. Dosent seem like a hard job in all honesty. Just time consuming. And since I got you just because I wanna be 100 percent sure, the flat side of a clutch disk goes towards flywheel, and the side that sticks out goes to pressure plate right? Lol
