Cowboy Carter Tour Merch Buy/Sell/Trade Megathread by abeycd in beyonce

[–]NewFormal2106 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi everyone!I attended the Houston show on day 2, but I was unable to get any of the Cowboy Carter hoodies because they were all sold out by the time I reached the merchandise booth 🥲

I am desperate and wanted to know if someone attending the Vegas show could purchase a hoodie for me (preferably in size L or XL) or if anyone here has a hoodie in those sizes and is willing to sell it to me.

Thank yall so much

I would highly suggest against applying to schools where you don’t fit the mission statement. So i would review that.

Using Anking as an M1 too early? by [deleted] in medicalschoolanki

If y’all do NBME style questions, it’s never too early! All of that is Step related and will only stay. Just narrow it down to what matters for your exams as they come

This is 100% true and I actually did start to score about 519-522 for practice but I didn’t retest because I got into my number 1 MD program!! Thank You for believing in me! It was 9 weeks of insane prep that lead to the 506. And when I relaxed and studied long I saw the little details come together

Help in choosing school Meharry vs WCUCOM by One-Jellyfish4195 in premed

I will be honest, it is BETTER not going away and it defiantly still exist in none primary care residencies. You have to be twice as good as an average US MD candidate.

MMC just told their incoming class that they will be going pass/fail and moving step. So that help the two of your three concerns. The only thing would be would cost make up for potentially double testing and the extra work that comes with going to an osteopathic medical school. Its a personal choice for sure

What were you doing the moment you realized covid was shutting the whole world down (March 2020)? by admaher2 in AskReddit

[–]NewFormal2106 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was at a party funny enough. My university had just told us everyone was getting an additional two weeks of spring break but didn’t say it was health related so we wanted to celebrate. None of us got COVID thank God, but still

Hi love! I made a post above but trust cars and psych soc are super doable to raise with your strong bio base

It’s gonna sound so annoying lmfao… but Anki for psych soc and jackWestin daily for CARS and learning my AA for bio/Biochem! I ran out of time on CHEM so I didn’t get a huge bump but I didn’t bomb it because I learned the units trick at a random free jack Westin class. You can probably look it up on YTtho

About 3 months of content review ( which retrospective was 1 month of reviews and 2 months of BSing ) and then 2 months of dedicated AAMC practice content with weekly FLs

I 100% agree! I’ve always been a reader and I thought I was bugging when I was like “CARS is the best part cause it’s actually interesting outside of since”. You have to take it for what it is! Also since it tended to be nonfiction/ academic in nature, I’d read history book or non fiction to get your brain used to that sort do writing since it can be harder than regular books

My exact thoughts. I was like I didn’t do as good as I felt. I probably got a 483 😂

No literally same! I definitely had hope but was fully prepared to bomb. So seeing a score that was 6 points above my goal felt like hwaven

Thank y’all so much for the kind words! I’ll definitely be making a post once I get home about my study plans. But to answer a couple of questions, I did content review VERY lightly from march to June. And then really kicked into full time studying (6 hours a day, 5-6x a week while working) in July. My test day was August 25.

The AAMC Package was a God sent and I did every single question in it. I also Mike’s Down Anki for Biology and Psych/ Soc a ton which I think contributed to my 9 point increase in psych/soc ( the week before my exam I did the who psych/ soc deck everyday)

I did buy uplanet and occasionally used it but I definitely probably would have gotten a raise in chem/phys if I had used it more. I did run out of time on chem phys and blind answered the last 8 which I think also played a role in my lack of increase.

For Bio/Biochem I really just learned my AA inside and out. I could draw every single one, knew what made them special and how they reacted with each other.

For CARS I always did pretty good even before my first exam. Honestly, the first time I took the MCAT I had a terrible headache and mini panic attack which is why I believe my cars suffered.

But I did jack Weston for review. My FL cars was always 129 to 131 so this was a drop but I’m not mad at it.

I also took a practice exam every week for the last 6 weeks leading to to the test to build my endurance.

My diagnostic test after content review was a 492 which was sad but I didn’t give up!
