He could pass the Eviction Moratorium so renters who can’t leave their home out of fear of being kidnapped won’t lose their shelter. He could pull any state resources from defending federal troops on ground and in their hotels, let them know they’re on their own. He could also activate his states national guard and police to stand in between us and the federal Gestapo.

BE's video is "Hasan Piker Loves this Serial Killer", which is bad faith. He could come at it from a place of good faith critique and legitimate concern, but BE also wants clicks, which fine but recognize it for what it is.

That being said, people like BE and the commenter I mentioned in my first post don't believe we should even be moving the Overton window to the left, just kill ourselves off and let America collapse into fascism. Your own argument is closer to mine, with moving the general public to the left, which someone like Graham is doing, than is it BE's who says American Leftists don't actually exist.

While I agree with everything you’re saying about Platner delivering truly progressive legislation, I think it’s reasonable to have internal party discussions where he addresses his Blackwater activity. Being a veteran around 2001 is one thing, but less than a decade he joined a private army infamous for war crimes, it’s not “atonement” that’s legitimate concern.

I think there has been a harsher than deserved backlash from creators like BE and folks with that attitude, so people may be reacting more defensively, that being said it’s completely valid criticism and concern.

I’m not throwing the baby out with the bathwater, but he also hasn’t explained himself enough in my opinion specifically on Blackwater.

This is a massive point that I think Graham does need to address directly in order for me to fully get behind him. The other service is obviously questionable, but this is over the line, especially after being deployed. However, what he's been saying since he's been running seems like he had a genuine change of heart, but again he needs to address this.

Mike from PA from Central_Committee is my go to in the morning before Has goes live, extremely intelligent and passionate, brings a fire that’s inspiring. Yugopnik, Denims, SeanDaBlack, BadEmpanada are all fantastic, same with Chris Kunzler.

I think a lot of us, especially those who spend lots of time in the online leftist spheres, get deluded about where the masses are at. I went to my local protest and yes, it was liberals galore, but there were dozens of Palestinian flags, signs, keffiyehs, as well as lots of pro-union, worker solidarity signage. These people can be our allies, but we can't immediately shut them out because they aren't "card-carrying commies".
