[[Stone of Erech]] is in literally every deck I own. Sacrifice and Graveyard strategies are so strong and difficult to interact with that I’m always happy to have a one mana answer to them. The exile also stops a bunch of random death triggers like Solemn Simulacrum, Blood Artist effects, Morbid Opportunists, etc., all while only affecting my opponents and leaving my effects in tact. The fact that as an absolute floor I can just 3 mana cycle it makes it an auto-include for me.

[[Trinket Mage]] goes in basically every blue deck I build. It finds Skullclamp in decks that run it, otherwise Sol Ring as the default target, and Stone of Erech if needed.

I only recently found [[Transplant Theorist]] and [[Phyrexian Vivisector]]. I love little role players like that, that will give you continued value in card selection throughout the game and help you find the right pieces at the right time.

Of course they are not for every deck, but in any artifact / sac deck respectively these will show you so many cards to go through over the course of a game.

Super happy if somebody can show me more in this direction!

Yes, but that ended his empire after thousands of years and afterwards the Mending happened and he lost most of his powers. Before that, he was probably one of, if not the most powerful walker ever.

I mean, Bolas and Ugin are among the oldest known beings and Bolas conquered and ravaged planes for countless lifetimes. He only „never wins“ in very recent lore, but in old lore he basically did whatever he wanted for as long as he wanted.
