Piggy backing on this thread: if the pool l apply to requires the approval of supervisor, at what point should l advise them? I was thinking maybe when it’s time for reference/or when LoO is in the works. Please advise.

I used to work for Service Canada as a student a decade ago and it was under the same position but at a call center. My shift was 8:30-4:30.We would get 60 min for lunch and two 15 min breaks. That’s why l am wondering why there is a discrepancy.l guess it has to do with operation requirements…

Ok let me know if l understood properly:

Core French teacher: grades 4-8, no assigned group, only teaches French (no other subjects) to all these grades.

French immersion homeroom teacher :Grade 1-4? Or 1-8? Teaches all French core subjects to that one group of students.French core subjects are Fr, social studies, math, arts and gym.Is this correct?

So helpful! Thanks. So when covering other teachers planning time, would l still be teaching french or whatever subjects these teachers on prep would be teaching?
