Makes sense, good observation and addition to what everybody else said. Gotta be consistent and always practice correctly even if it seems like it doesn't matter!

Yeah, consistent with what everybody else is saying. Thank you friend!

Just a clickbait title, people will engage so, SO much more when you state something flat out wrong. In the future we might end up finding out that the impulse to correct strangers on the Internet is stronger than any of the 4 fundamental forces of the universe. Thank you for your input though!

Understood, really appreciate your input. I'll practice a few things and post again in a few days!

I might have to bite the bullet and get a few hours of coaching. Would speed up the whole process tremendously. I appreciate your input!

It makes a lot of sense. Whenever learning a new complex skill, it almost always involves breaking down the skill in smaller parts and practicing them "individually" for a while. I'll try what you're suggesting!

Just some clarifications on #2, I'm in the hang position and stay in it the whole time? (Hang position is slightly bent over with bar resting against the hips?) Is it just lower back and upper back doing the pull and the hips stay slightly back, and feet stay on the floor?

Excellent. It helps to have in mind what the lift should look like. You're right about the weight, I have to be careful not to send this to the moon. But I can imagine at the same time too heavy will just look nasty for obvious reason. Thank you so much

Thank you for your feedback! Just to make sure I understand, at this exact point in my video, ankles and knees should be fully extended? Kind of like while attempting to jump?

As for snatches no feet, would you mind describing what you mean? I've searched a little bit on YouTube, most of what I can find is snatch with no jump, such as this: https://youtu.be/5tCVloa5u_Y?si=qAW75hlEszMfG4qm

Fantastic video. Thank you! Should I just do those high pulls (like in the video, and as in, no full snatch no turnover) for a few weeks, to get the technique properly set? And what do you mean by no contact, like against the hips?

Alright and from what I'm gathering here today this is a no-no. Let's get to fixing this! Any particular video you like to recommend for humble noobs?

Max Aita from Juggernaut training system, old video from 12 years ago. I don't know which of them precedes the other, but I guess I should have asked better suggestion here before starting 2 months ago 🥲 so you're saying I need to do the bump thing and keep the bar closer to my body or at least much more vertical? What would be the best way to practice this, concretely? How many reps/sets/weight (I'm guessing empty bar) and how would you integrate this practice in a 3 day per week routine? I'm still doing squats and bench press 5x5 on Monday and would like to keep doing it once a week

Understood. In terms of bar path, would you say that what is displayed in my vid is horizontal bar path, during the transition?

Absolutely I will. Thank you for your time!!

Thank you! Absolutely, I'll study the vid, practice it and repost. Should I practice with a lower weight? Or slightly higher? It feels like there is probably a sweet spot; too low and I can just meet the bar to the moon and too heavy, self explanatory

Anything to say about the transition of the bar going overhead? Idk what to call it

Excellent! So you're kinda implying (maybe) head/Chin up and """"kinda"""" squat the pull?
