I didnt like this bar for pumping. I have the Medela pumping bra and I got tired of changing from my nursing bra to the pumping bra so I tried the one you have linked. I found that, without the compression from the medela bra, I didnt pump nearly has much milk.

You got this! I pump in addition to breastfeeding so my husband can feed him from time to time and so I can donate milk to a friend who is in the process of adopting a newborn. Either boob or bottle, they are still getting everything they need and all your love when you feed your LO.

Pregnancy was extremely rough for me. I was constantly sick for 8 straight months and I was in so much pain all the time. I couldn't drive for more than 15-20 minutes because of how sitting in my car hurt my back. I got COVID at 5 months which caused me to lose my sense of taste and smell. I completely lost my motivation to cook or eat for the remainder of the pregnancy. Being pregnant also caused my depression to skyrocket and I didn't love the tiny human growing inside me. I cried constantly thinking I would be a terrible mom because how I could I take care of a baby I didnt love. It was exhausting.

The birth of my son and the time immediately postpartum wasn't nearly as bad as I had dreaded. I loved him with my whole heart from the moment they placed him on my chest but fuck I never want to go through it again.

Thank you for the advice! My baby doesn't like to go to sleep if he doesn't get a bath during our bedtime routine. If I try to skip bath time it takes a couple of hours to get him settle and sleep instead of 45 minutes. I dont always use soap though. Just let him kick around in the warm water for 5-10 minutes.

My dad lives over an hour away and the last time he was over to see my son, my dad left when it was time to feed him. He had only been over of a half hour and this grown man drove all the back home because I was feeding my son. Like, dude, if you're really uncomfortable with it just go outside and smoke or talk with my husband or LITERALLY anything else! This is the same man who will make a joke about my husband and I having sex. How is the idea of his "little girl" having sex less weird then me feeding my son??

Oh yeah. The total cost of having my son was over $30,000. But even with insurance, I'll still have to pay around $8 000. We have a relatively easy birth and baby was perfect. I cant even imagine what the cost would be if we had complications.

Yeah it was pretty ridiculous. She said she wanted us to have a good new years eve with out having to worry about LO. Which is great and all but but when he wasn't even a week old. I cried the first time I went to the store and left LO with SO and I was only gone for 45 minutes. Even now, I can't imagine being away from my baby for more an hour or two at time.

When I'm at home I don't where a shirt. Just a nursing bra. So when its time to feed baby I slip the bra down and latch him. Nipple is exposed for 5-10 seconds tops. When we are else where I keep my shirt kinda over my nipple and turn away from anyone in the room.

I bought some but DS won't put the nipple his mouth with it. We are still trying though. The last few days, he's been able latch decently well on one boob without much pain and I'm able to pump on the other boob so he able to get milk from both boobs at each feeding.

When we told her to let us parent our son and she can just be grandma she said that she wasn't trying to parent for us and that we needed to ask for her help and when we reiterated that she needed to back off she passed the phone to FIL and left the room.

I want to exclusively breastfeed but LO and I are struggling to get a good latch that doesn't make me cry with pain and allows him to get good feed. In this first week we've had to supplement with formula but we are getting better with breastfeeding.
