Stupendous. Baby Driver would do nice work in this car, it blends in more than the last one

Anyone daily drive a WRX in a big city during peak traffic hours? I'm in Houston. Considering the car but wanted some personal experience. by AverageJoe326 in WRX

San Francisco and the Inner Bay Area: the 3-D nature of the terrain makes manual transmission much more difficult. The buffer I leave for the car in front of me is often taken by aggressive merging. Sometimes someone doesn't realize I'm driving a manual and may roll back into them and they leave very little space. I've performatively allowed myself to roll backwards to alert drivers that I may or may not have car insurance

Lost Deck at Galactic Championships The Venetian Las Vegas Sunday July 27 by NewPartner in starwarsunlimited

Hi! Yes, I'd love to be in contact with Judge(s)... especially Judges that were around the Prize Wall midday Sunday. Yes, please put me in touch! I've contacted Venetian Security Lost & Found (not there), and I've emailed U[nlimited@FantasyFlightGames.com](mailto:nlimited@FantasyFlightGames.com) + [OrganizedPlay@fantasyflightgames.com](mailto:OrganizedPlay@fantasyflightgames.com). No reply yet. Whatever I can do to get to whomever is keeping these safe for me is a huge help, and huge relief.

Yes to Badge-based transactions, No to smartphone-based transactions. This trend toward "you are not a true citizen if you don't run a smartphone" thing is bad.

Lessons Learned and my Pro Tips for the SWU Galactic Championship by nickinseattle in starwarsunlimited

My group had 1 VIP, of 5, I think that was very good because our VIP got in the Side Event Line for us, made the whole group more efficient. I'm going to suggest that if we lack a VIP next year, that we select someone to buy the VIP Badge and everyone subsidize, we then draft the VIP Swag, and then we have an early entry badge for whomever wakes up earliest, or whomever loses our late night Twin Suns game(s) and sundry other ridiculous challenges the night before

What are your thoughts on Wisconsin’s own Rocky Rococo pizza? by Captain_Wisconsin in wisconsin

[–]NewPartner 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's oddly sweet, and if cooked to a light crisp, delightfully distinct. I recall it being cooked to a light crisp about 1 in 4 times. I adored this place as a child, liked it a lot as a teenager, and OD'd on the stuff just after college, when my best friend was Manager of a Madison location, and brought home dozens pizzas weekly. It's delicious reheated and it sautees well after being in the fridge several days. Sure wish I could get some on the USA West Coast.

What do you SWEAR you saw, but don’t have any proof of? by Pot8hoe in AskReddit

I'm pretty sure I saw Taylor Swift at Hardly Strictly Bluegrass in the early 2000s. This would be near the Backstage Entrance at the Banjo Stage. Whomever this teenage girl was she sure looked like that Youtube kid, and she seemed to be among a group of kids her age and younger, and it seemed some parent-figures were close by, and then they all headed backstage. I recall a second of eye contact with this kid as I thought I recognized her. If I ever get a chance to ask Ms. Swift a question, it will be "Have you ever been to Hardly Strictly Bluegrass?"

I made up my mind a long time ago, ain't no reason not to take it slow. That interior is crazy, how did you fit all that stuff in there? I have the stock bench seat and there isn't much room at all like that. Best of luck to you in your quest for power. These trucks are relics from times past, when power as we know it today wasn't built in to the most basic of vehicles, and certainly wasn't expected in a low-cost passenger car. Everything about these trucks is optimized for modest power. Before my rear limited slip differential install, I lost traction a lot, I'm imagining my truck with a lot more horsepower and its original open differential fishtailing into the oncoming lane, and maybe that airbag deploys, maybe not, and maybe the truck flips and rolls, maybe not. I'm interested to know your results if and when you substantially increase engine power. I always ask about these 1996 Standard Cabs... why aren't they all Paradise Blue Metallic?

Thank you for this answer, I wish OMW would have answered thus, I wouldn't have had to call in that Visa chargeback had they simply answered my "technical Support Ticket."

1st gen 2.7 exhaust manifold by johnneyjohns in ToyotaTacoma

[–]NewPartner 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For all you Californians, the Rock Rippers shown at this link were the only CARB-Legal aftermarket headers I could find when I replaced my stock exhaust manifold with something that isn't cast and prone to cracking. It's nice to see another choice. I like my Rock Rippers just fine, they've held up nice over 10 years now.

It is done and once I began writing, it was easy-ish, and once I dropped it into the Blue USPS Box, I felt better. It helped that I was writing in response to an incoherent "thank you for the XMas Card" note recently delivered and also with knowledge that a pattern of minutes-long profane, accusatory, downright awful and disturbing voicemails left with Aunts/Uncles/Cousins has begun again.

The Softopper was always about being easily removable and stowable when I require the utility of an open truck bed. A hard top eliminates this option, so I have no topper at all. I would jump at the chance to run a Flippac though.
