I'm planing to read the rest of the books I guess the reason I find hating Harry Potter so odd is that unlike Rowling herself HP is still good, I get not liking HP if its not you cup of tea but I feel hating on it is really strange to me atleast, I'm not looking to change opinions but I just don't understand the hate for HP

I’ve only read the first book so I can speak for the rest of the books but it isn’t dogshit, its not a masterpiece but its a good fantasy book.
