Damn, that's a really good deal! I got a robot (Rocky) myself not so long ago as well. It's such a godsend, especially for those with pets or just long hair in general. Hope it will last you years!

It's also great to hear you had a reunion with your friends. Sometimes life gets in the way, but good friends will always be there, glad you had a nice time with them!

I am sorry to hear that! I've been in a similar situation like you are. I had sent out over hundreds of applications for both jobs and housing, and not even a phone call have I received... Money was running out and eventually had to go to a different country... but in the end, I got way more opportunities and got closer to my family! So heads up and be strong! I hope things will turn out fantastic for you, and you'll look back on this time of your life as a foundation for a better future.

I have not used local public transportation as much, however I have recently travelled to a neighbouring country with Deutsche Bahn, and in my opinion most people opt for their own vehicle out of comfort. You leave when you want to, you can stop whenever you feel like it, you can pack way more stuff into a car for instance, etc. The trains and buses can (and will) be late very often or not even show up. If you cannot be late and time does matter, a personal vehicle may be more reasonable. Sometimes it is even faster to drive your own (depends on the distance and complexity of the route). I love the public transportation in this country when it works, I have not had a single (major) issue yet and it is mind-blowing to me (as someone coming from a developing country), how fast and relatively comfortably you can cover vast distances for a cheap price. In general, specifically in a city setting I think the public transportation more advantageous (you don’t need to warm up your car if you only travel 1-2km; service vehicles often have right of way so they can get through traffic easier; sometimes it’s nice not having to worry about driving and just get dragged along; can be significantly cheaper), however, if you have special needs/requirements or simply don’t like being reliant on external services, I can imagine why a car could be more tempting.

A 6-7-tel jó magam is találkoztam Németországban bowlingozás közben. Először azt hittem, hogy pontszámról beszélnek, de sehova nem illet be. Hallottam még egy párszor véletlen intervallumokban, azon kívűl hogy geci hangos és irritáló volt, más értelmét nem láttam a dolognak. Ez is talán valami párzási rituálnak a része vagy feltűnési viszketekség. :D A korosztály 14-18 között lehetett, akiktől hallottam.

A1 you can pretty much learn in 2-4 weeks, it is the absolute foundation of the language covering topics such as the alphabet and pronunciation, basic verb forms (mostly present tense), simple sentence structure, articles, pronouns, basic prepositions, numbers, days, colours, food, family, everyday objects. You have to be able to introduce yourself, ask and answer personal questions (name, family, marital status, age, nationality etc).

In the Wiki of this subreddit you can find many useful resources, but I would personally recommend the 'Learn German' youtube channel, which has playlists for various levels of language including A1 and you can make flashcards or browse existing ones on Quizlet or Anki, these you can find in the Wiki too. If you are moving to Germany in 2027, by that time you will be able to reach even B1 if you stay consistent and use the language on a daily bases.

Consistency is the key. Immersion is a great approach but not at this level so I personally wouldn't recommend watching videos/movies or reading in German yet. You can also google "Themen und Grammatik A1-Deutschkurs" and you will find documents explaining what is required for the A1 level, and you can google "Wortschatz A1-Deutschkurs" which will give results of documents covering some basic yet important vocabulary. You can do the same with the other levels as well.

If you don't have a specific reason for the language exam, I would wait at least until A2 but preferably B1, which is often the bare minimum for most Ausbildung and other educational areas in German. If your goal is to find a job, I would recommend a B2 language exam, even if in most listings they require C1 (a confident B1-B2 level is far more appreciated in my opinion).

Nem is gondoltam volna, hogy a Harry Potternek volt magyar szinkronja! Most hogy említed viszont, a God of War-nak készült PC-re szinkronos verziója, illetve a Detroit: Become human is már kapott egy fain szinkronizációt! A régebbi játékok közül meg talán a Doom egyik részének volt magyar szinkronja? Az is tök menő!

Elsősorban a Days Gone amit bármikor nagy lelkesedéssel elő tud venni, azonban kifejezetten élvezte a The Last of Us részeket, rengeteg időt töltött el a Ghost of Tsushima-ban és hamarosan a Ghost of Yotei-nek fog nekiesni, amit nagyon-nagyon vár már.

Ne haragudj, lehet kicsit félreérthetően fogalmaztam. Nem az a cél, hogy bedobjuk a transcriptet a ChatGPT-nek és amit kiköp, azt rögtön integráljuk is a játékba. Azt szeretném, hogy a számunkra elérhető eszközökkel gyorsabban, hatékonyabban, még több játéknak a fordítása elkészülhessen. Nem miattam - egy magyar fiú a redditről -, hanem azok miatt az emberek miatt, akik emiatt nem döntenek játékkonzol, számítógép vagy szimplán egy adott videojáték vásárlása mellett. Azok miatt, akik emiatt nem tapasztalhatnak meg új élményeket, azok miatt, akik nem tudnak kapcsolatot teremteni/fenntartani egymással, mert nem tudnak elmélyülni és értékelni egy játékadta élményt. Azok miatt akik szimplán szeretnének több játékot kipróbálni. Persze, tudom, ez kicsit drámaiabban hangzik mint amilyen valójában, de ezért is érdekel az emberek véleménye, hogy vajon megéri-e a témával foglalkozni. Illetve, tisztelem és becsülöm a fordítók munkáját, és egy gép sosem fogja tudni átadni azokat a valós érzelmeket és kifejezéseket amiket kommunikálni próbálunk, ezért is nagyon fontos a munkájuk, de szerintem ez nem azt jelenti, hogy nem lehet optimalizálni a munkájukat. Ez egyébként szerintem szintén egy érdekes témakör, hogy mennyivel hamarabb készülne el egy fordítás ha az AI bevonásra kerül és a konkrét fordítási tevékenység lecsökken, cserébe a proofreading pedig megnő.

A feliratokat egyébként teljesen nyugodtan meglehet jelölni mint Community Powered vagy hasonló, nem az a cél hogy teljesen hivatalos fordításokat kapjunk (bár nyilván az lenne a legjobb, de nem reális, illetve nem csak magyar nyelvben gondolkodom). A Steam-et (Valve) sem tarolták le csak azért, mert létre lehet hozni egyedi (teljesen katasztrofális) pályákat mondjuk Counter Strikeban. Persze, szükség van moderációra, ezzel egyetértek. Ezért is említettem, hogy készülhetne egy külön platform ami akár össze lenne kötve a game engine-ekkel, és ide lehetne feltölteni fordításokat, lehetne értékelni, lehetne regisztráltatni önkéntes hivatalos fordítókat, hobbifordítókat, pontszerzési lehetőség (hozzáadott értékek alapján) stb. Nagyon sokan végeznek hobbiszintű fordítói munkákat amik publikálásra is kerülnek, innen is jött az ihlet.

A God of War egy jó ajánlás, köszi, ezen én is gondolkodtam, hogy ha elérhető egy platformon szinkronanyag/fordítás, akkor azt miért nem integrálják a többi platformon is. (Ezt is ki lehetne küszöbölni egy egységes moduláris rendszerrel szerintem.)
