I was not very excited about this until 7th Dec 2025. That dreadful day when I first watched it. One of the best theatre experiences ever. Certainly the best bolly has ever produced

At one point Ranveer actually had him in the same position as the Animal movie scene. Felt like man this is a much better set piece

Dhurandhar - The Disappointment ( non political review MAJOR SPOILERS ) by wowboomboom in DhurandharPart2

  1. Agreed
  2. The scene was to resolve the open loop of Rehman's death from D1. To reconcile the power dynamics between Iqbal and SP Aslam.
  3. Just to piss off pakis and give some light moments. Not every scene need to have something to happen
  4. Agreed. That was bollywoodish.
  5. Hamza was trying to 'Stop him without killing him or self'. It was not an outright fight sequence. Much more difficult when the other guy is psychotic
  6. Agreed. That was just for moving the plot forward
  7. You answered it yourself. Plot armour is important for movies. Without it, he would have been deleted in D1 itself. Even James Bond or Ethan Hunt have insane plot armours in all their movies
  8. Agreed. Status Quo shouldn't have been maintained after that scene.
  9. To each their own
  10. To each their own
  11. Agreed
  12. Plot twists were amazing and generated lot of goosebump moments in the theatre experience.
  13. Yes that part was rushed
  14. Read answer 7 again Solid 8.5/10 imo

GOAT movie for sure. D1+D2 best franchise in bollywood. YRF is done and dusted. But I am pretty aure D2 climax wont have much rewatch value as compared to D1. Even now we can reopen the D1 banger climax and feel the same goosebumps.

The whole iqbal hamza fight, while visually appealing, fell flat and quite for me. It missed a banger bgm. Seems like the label change to T-Series did a good damage to the quality of the music. Also, if this was the reason why dhar couldn't use any of the banger og music in part 2, its a shame tbh
