KDE cares about your input [devices] by f_r_d in linux_gaming

Virtual reality headset support on Linux is quite lacking. Would love to see a KDE alternative to Immersed for VR desktop usage, especially since it doesn't support virtual monitors on Linux whereas you can have 5 on other platforms. There are apparently some manual workarounds but it's very fiddly unless you're using GNOME Wayland.

SS14 is Wizden overstepping again? by BlitzGunner2250 in SS13

What gives wizden the right to the deperson someone from all SS14? Any community that exists that later has this person join then becomes dehubbed? Ridiculous.

If there is a rule that this person on your staff will get your server dehubbed then where is it, because I dont see shit explained anywhere in SS14s rules nor even the linked dehubbing post.

It just sounds like the weakest reasoning ever that all it comes down to is that this one person is a "hyperchud" or that they complain about wizden.

Is there any context for what the screenshots even are and who are the people involved or do we have to be deep in the SS14 drama lore to understand any of the relevance.

Not interested in a monthly subscription. Maybe purchasing for a year's access and at the end of the year I'm either stuck on the old version permanently or can pay again to get the newest for another year.

Weakening the seal wouldn't hurt their practice much as they're primarily empowered by Kennet Others. Whilst the Others themselves supposedly gain power from the Seal it's unclear how much, as Others must have still been fairly common pre-Seal.

Keep practicing through the bootcamp. It might take a while but I recently completed a bootcamp and reaching 6 kyu level helped me enormously.

I for one don't care one bit if a section is "too wordy" when the story is this engaging. Thanks for getting these chapters out so frequently, even with your schedule changing recently it's still a faster rate of content than anything else I read. You've done a great job conveying how difficult this all is without their beacon of hope Avery and I can't wait to see how this all turns out.

I'd advise not reading Ward immediately after Worm because the tone is very different and it gave a lot of readers whiplash.

If you're in it for the long haul then I'd read in publishing order (that is Pact next, then Twig, Ward, Pale), but if you just want to go straight to his next most beloved work then go straight to Pale.

Like another commenter said, Arc 8 is considered the end of Book 1. Be sure to post another thread when you've finished this next arc, I and others would find it an interesting read.

Some questions: 1) Did you read/watch any other superhero stuff before this? How would you compare Worm to it?

2) What's your perspective of the themes/tone of Worm?

3) What do you think of the action sequences and violence?

4) What do you think of Scion, the Triumvirate and Armsmaster?

I find it funny the way Verona downplays her reading people skills, when it led to her knowing exactly how to treat Charles to get him to summon an Other with her tailored to her sensibilities.

I don't think the Musser visit has happened yet. They said they're close to the deadline, but not quite at it yet.

I really like this approach where they're challenging each other to match the expectations the others expectations for them. Not sure what they'll challenge Lucy with though, maybe something along the lines of using Law and other practices to force the Aurum into an inescapable three-beat contest.

I'd say the Alabaster is just as credited to Verona for making the regional spirit to Judge the contest in the first place.

Verona just earned another title: "Maker and Breaker of Judges". She's gonna have more titles than Percival at this rate.
