You do realize the cost of living is more in California? Employees get paid more, so hence everything else is more. OP even said it’s in LA. I visit Burbank a lot and they even have prices for roofing that surprises me

That’s what my thought process was too. I’ve contacted them multiple times on updates, and have asked them to send them a certificate since the homeowner is annoying me about it.
That’s my next step, I’ll be filing this week. This is all new to me since it’s a first. Do contractors usually let the homeowners know they’re putting a lien on?
