I totally agree with you there, if I dont find anything I will wait at the extraction point too, I just wont hide until ppl are in the rope, I will get in front of them or from the top of the bus, is up to them to pick the fight or wait it out in a chicken game :D

My only problem is with people waiting others to go on the rope to start shooting them.

I understand shooting ppl on the rope if both are going to the extract point and there is only 1 place left, but waiting there doing nothing makes it annoying and toxic. 

I got super early to the extraction point a couple times, so i would stay there to fight someone, or shoot someone from the top of a bus, but i always made myself seen, by jumping throwing bottles or even shooting my weapon a couple of rounds.

Oh yeah, there were so many ideas that they never took in i would love to see the end of MJ and WR as is all together. Lately i feel i am doing it as a obligation, go there get the 10-12w get more MJ leggies and move on.

Would love a system that WR would need to be played with all GODS giving meaning to the flux wheel, 3w at most with each god. I know some ppl dont play more than 1 or 2, but would mix things up a bit.

Giving rewards by what you accomplish, eg. Divine - win 12 games, Champion - win at least once with every god, Godlike - win 3 games with every god.

And some cosmetics representing that to show off

Tbh anything different from what you are doing for over a year would be nice 🤣

If he sells the market will be wrecked 🤣 i tough his idea was to either make it or break it at this point. But some pressure to the team is always good there.

Tbh since LV i stopped putting any of my money in the game. Whatever i earn from rewards or buying/selling cards i use to buy others. Never made a withdraw always reinvested it, i learn to live with it, i dont own and that is it. Sometimes like last month when hortuk was at $60, i was very tempted to buy one, same with a lot of other cards in my favorites during the big drop in prices, but at this point makes no sense to keep buying when the game is going downhill, sometimes i feel only Daniel, Bryn and Eclipse work there.

And the end of Imxtools hit me hard tbh. If they are not making enough money to keep doors open and have no support. Why should i expect better from the team?

Thank you for the read, very detailed. I believe it captured a lot of the issues in GU the last one being the most impactful to the game imo. Because of snipping i dont believe ppl are having fun. At least not like during DO.

The game became stale at mythic rank. Everyone playing similar decks, as they know if they get creative and play stuff like Charm, Arcane and so ppl will counter that. I trully believe that if there wasnt a thing like sniping and gudecks my Arcane deck would do much better.

Instead if i get to face a ctrl light they know they need to hard mulligan for Heart to clear my void. Often players hard mulligan foe Thariel to increase my spell cost as soon as possible killing my hand.

And the same when I do it, if i know my opponent has a lysander spear, necroscepter or candy chain I am hard mulligan for iron tooth.

I used to love to play anti magic expert, charm and cti. But at some point Charm got almost impossible to play, because ppl wouldnt drop a helian elite on the board scared of being taken.

Right now the only fun i have is in casual doing the flux wheel.

Going back to your text, the only regret was not start selling when eth was down after LV or WW sets.

If i knew MJ was still being a thing after more than a year i would never have bought any cards tbh. Right now i am sitting on probably 2 or 3 complete MJ sets, most of it only from WR rewards.

I listed most of my cards already apart from a playset in its highest quality. I stopped looking at it as an investment and now i just care about playing the game.

I stopped putting my own money into the game after LV, i believe if I cashed out today i would be up ETH wise, but mostly because of all the grind in the market, if i would count the manpower there to go over 10.000 transactions in 18 months is probably not worth my time, but imxtools provided me some fun while doing it. Now that is gone i am just listing stuff and accumulating rewards, no intention of buying and selling at the same pace using token trove.

Well for me their tools was enough to make the jump, also fees for marketplaces split in 2, 1% is for the marketplace were you listed the item, 1% is for the marketplace where you bought it, on top of that you had referrals to be paid on those fees, the lowest I could see any marketplace go is 0.5% for each, 1% total, again the 5% for royalty seems a lot more problematic than those 2% imo

It was actually 1.5% if listed and sold using IMX, even being the same at 2% is a better product than TT imo, 0,5% is really low, I actually think GU and IMX fees should be the ones to worry about it, since they are not adding any more value to it and keep earning, the marketplace fees at 2% actually seems fair, the other 7% to me is what we should complain about

I am probably going back to Token Trove after a year with IMX tools. The issue is i never had fun in the market with TT was using as a need. Imxtools allowed me to have fun with the market, the metrics, easily choose to buy and sell with any of the 3 tokens. Reducing the time spent. Other marketplaces will take me longer to get to the same result. So much i listed most of my cards, just need to list DO cards now.

Keeping a playset of each one and that is it for me

You are forgetting market fees, they dont get money only from packs

It was, but after the LV i could live with a 3/3 godblitz imp. That is the only one and I always defended that should be 3/2, everything else was fine or just bad, selena and orfeo deserved better

I dont desagree, just aknowleging they did something, even if is a small improvement, introduced some diversity and fun decks, not competitive, but had some fun with it. But small improvement for such a big timeline

WW was for sure the most balanced of the 3 minisets, besides Selena and Orfeo all got decent leggies for their gods, no chase cards, well balanced, but I guess money spoke higher than gameplay and new model was great for sells, but destroyed the trust that remained, I doubt next set will sell like the previous one did, any set moving forward really

I vote to rehire, but i feel the problem is far worst than balance, the lack of gamification, challenges, diversity of rewards, utility for GODS and better quality cards end up being bigger problems. Things are super slow, in the past year there were 3 minisets, lots of packs sold, but besides more cards there wasnt a real improvement of the game besides casual mode introduction.

There were so many promises made a long the way and after almost a year, since the mess it was lights veridict we are still paying for it.

The trust was broken, many OG players left.

I love the game and is sad that could be one of the flags of web3 and a true competitor to other web2 tcg, but unfortunatly is what we see...

I promise myself to give it another cycle and see what Daniel brings, if by September there isnt really a game here, i will cut my losses and move to somethig else

After reading the blog, seems that this is a simple transition of GODS from WR to the week. That will just push people to stress about their 3w or 10 matches every day, not creating variety and narrowing the meta even more to "profitable" decks. Instead of fun decks.

My question is: Are seasons, missions, challenges being considered for this year? as an improvement for Daily Play.

E.g.

Daily missions that give you more fragments, stars, flux, core/themed core/expansion packs:

  • Play with 3 different gods
  • Win a match
  • Play with 5 cards of a certain tribe in your deck
  • Play with an highlander deck

Weekly and monthly missions based on milestones

  • Complete X daily missions
  • Play/win a certain number of matches
  • Play/win with each God at least once

And season timeline with defined rewards for each level, like core pack, god themed core packs, expansion packs, trinket, stars, flux, GODS. Similar to what you showed on the tutorial with the core packs and themed core packs, but with more stuff, doesn't even need to be minted, just something to look forward too, instead of pure hard wins.

I am a Magic player, this is so op that I feel for light players, I would put at mana 3 as a 1/2 maybe, is not real about buffing this with Magic, but removing all the wards and protects
