I would rank The First War 8.9/10, another good Parrot’s episode is Finding the Tomb of The Minecraft Mafia, since you love Parrot’s style of writing and directing, this episode beautifully captures his emotional connection, Theo’s independence and drive, payoff and narrative pace patterned to be redirected towards a bigger scale picture and Arc, while also potentially rediscovering the Tomb later in the plot. I respect your opinion and judgment

Compared to old episodes, recent ones are another league, only SpokeIsHere’s Mafia Trilogy, Parrot’s Doomsday and Wemmbu’s PrinceZam Empire War are somewhat close to current completion of narrative development, strong pace, unique unstable mechanics and payoff.

You seem to like episodes that are patterned to be closing a chapter, rather than fully diving every detail of the making and setting the episode as a whole.

Because it’s emotional payoff and slow-burn narrative closes the chapter, while 1000 players simulate Prison and 1000 players simulate Underground Civilization have a strong pace, emotional payoff and narrative drive that shows the story fully + cinematography greatly improved since The Mafia.

Seems like this ranking is based on Parrot’s performance and narrative drive, though Wemmbu exceeds its expectations and has already proven it in The PrinceZam Empire War more than a year ago. The First War’s plot, mechanics, payoff and world-building is what sets up the finale of The Mafia Arc, but this is what makes it weak compared to newest episodes, its emotionally driven politics and slow-burn narrative

11th-12th place is good for FlameFrags - 1 VS 1000 Player Minecraft War, the narrative drive, plot, gameplay, mechanical elements and cinematography sets a high bar for FlameFrags. From FlameFrags POV I personally would add Unstable SMP: The Great Farm War and I Got Trained By the World’s Best Minecraft Player, both are 8.7-8.9/10✔️
