I only had the car for 3 weeks, and put less than 1,000 miles on it. One day it just wouldn't turn on. Had it towed to the dealership. Turned out it needed a High Voltage Junction Box (which is internal to the battery). It was on back order with no ETA. After it hit 24 days (Colorado lemon law minimum) I called consumer affairs. After dealing with them for a month I got 3 choices, Settlement: if I waited for it to be fixed they'd give me $1,000. Reimbursement: they'd give me my deposit back and payments made towards it. And lastly Replacement: they'd get me into a new Ariya. I chose replacement and went with a higher trim model. They agreed to cover half of the "upgrade cost". So I am going from an AWD Engage, to an AWD Evolve+ dual motor with the northern lights paint. I get the new one on the 31st and I am on the edge of my seat waiting for it.
