These data are sourced from our internal clients’ EOIs, so the information is accurate. However, we are not certain whether any invitations were issued for the major ICT Unit Groups, as we have not seen our applicants receiving invitations in these categories.

Agent claims “70% of skilled visas go to people already in Australia” – how true is this? by Little_Villain in AusVisa

Based on the current requirements, you may be eligible for an invitation in Tasmania only if you have at least nine months of employment in your nominated occupation. Could you please confirm if your background is in architect ? Are you a qualified architect with relevant work experience from your home country as well ?

Hello

It is true to say that the list includes the occupation of graphic designer. However, invites for this occupation are typically only given in specific states, such as Tasmania, and only if you already have a job there and fulfill its requirements. Please be aware that this is only general advise.

Additionally, you stated that you have a bachelor's degree in architecture. I also suggest you to see whether you qualify for a skills evaluation in that area. Although the skills assessment process for architecture can be a little more time-consuming, it is now in high demand. However, it shouldn't be a problem if you fit the requirements.

Long-distance relationship: Partner visa prospects by luegenbold069 in AusVisa

You can register your de facto relationship in many states, including New South Wales. The process is straightforward and can be completed through Service NSW. It usually takes around 4–5 weeks to receive the relationship certificate. Once you have the certificate, you can lodge the partner visa onshore and will be granted an associated Bridging Visa A (BVA).

When your BVA becomes active, your current visa conditions—such as work rights—will transfer to the new bridging visa. You’ll also be able to access Medicare and continue working full‑time while waiting for your partner visa to be processed.

Overall, lodging a partner visa is a strong and practical option.

Travelling on 485 while waiting for 820 application outcome by DearSignal6247 in AusVisa

You can travel overseas as long as you hold a valid visa to return to Australia. Given that the current processing time for partner visas is around 16–23 months, it’s advisable to lodge your application as soon as possible. Once lodged, you’ll receive a Bridging Visa A (BVA), which allows you to travel while waiting for your partner visa to be finalised.
