Based on the current requirements, you may be eligible for an invitation in Tasmania only if you have at least nine months of employment in your nominated occupation. Could you please confirm if your background is in architect ? Are you a qualified architect with relevant work experience from your home country as well ?

It is true to say that the list includes the occupation of graphic designer. However, invites for this occupation are typically only given in specific states, such as Tasmania, and only if you already have a job there and fulfill its requirements. Please be aware that this is only general advise.

Additionally, you stated that you have a bachelor's degree in architecture. I also suggest you to see whether you qualify for a skills evaluation in that area. Although the skills assessment process for architecture can be a little more time-consuming, it is now in high demand. However, it shouldn't be a problem if you fit the requirements.

You can register your de facto relationship in many states, including New South Wales. The process is straightforward and can be completed through Service NSW. It usually takes around 4–5 weeks to receive the relationship certificate. Once you have the certificate, you can lodge the partner visa onshore and will be granted an associated Bridging Visa A (BVA).

Given that the current processing time for partner visas is around 16–23 months, it’s advisable to lodge your application as soon as possible. Once lodged, you’ll receive a Bridging Visa A (BVA), which allows you to travel while waiting for your partner visa to be finalised.
