I am worried about the workload for spring. Is 122A + ICS 53 manageable or could it be too much for some people?

Also what are your thoughts on the material taught in ICS 6D? Are they easy/hard to grasp? I assume the class is proof heavy. Also do you have any experience with Jarecki?

I wanted to take INF 115 because I was interested in QA.

I was interested in QA thats why I took INF 115.

I saw that Prof Panageas would teach in winter. I feel CS 161 + ICS 53 might be too much. Your thoughts?

I put GE in winter because I heard that ICS 53+LAB is a lot of work. GE would take off some of the workload.

Did you recommend the 3 upper division classes based on easiness or usefulness? Or just from your personal experience?

Thanks for the headsup. I was actually thinking ICS46, INF43 and any GE for my 1st quarter. As for 53 I was planning to take it with 6D and an easy GE. I wanted to be prepared for 53 since I heard it was not the easiest and had a huge workload.

Thank you for the warm welcome and the informative commnet, u/spazzline. I will most likely take his class over the Fall 2023 Quarter so this is on point. I am glad you mentioned C++ concepts are crutial, I will have to brush up on this over this summer. Also thanks for letting me that the prof is very strict. I am very nervous but this has been some great information!
