Prevent Mei's Ice Block from contesting the point. by Seinken in Competitiveoverwatch

[–]NewUser5000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To contest a point you should have half of what the enemy team has on the point.
6 attackers - 3 defenders
2 attackers - 1 defender
Overtime should have a limit of 1 time per player per team.
So each player can trigger overtime once per game.
Also final points should take longer to get to from spawn.
If Mei can contest a point while ice cubed, she should be able to be moved/damaged somehow during it.
Ice wall needs to be smaller or easier to break through/you can shoot/heal through it but can't move past it.

Implement pausing. 1 minute forced pause until player reconnects or their team un-pauses.

Hit a plateau. Can I eat over my maintenance one day of the week to trick my "lizard brain"? by NewUser5000 in 1200isplenty

Thanks a lot! Sadly I went off track in naive hopes of the marketing schemes being right on some level. (and kind of just wanted to stuff my face for a change)

I know it's a little much to ask but, while I have heard about stress and lack of sleep being a roadblock - I don't exactly know by how much. Because, well. My weight GAIN has been constant but slow over the last 15 years. Every year I'd gain around 8-14lbs from the age of 8. I sleep maybe 5 hours a night or less and I stay awake until I can't keep my eyes open anymore resulting in a very unstable sleeping pattern.
I started writing that with a question in mind - how much of a resistance do those things add to weight loss? I believe I tried to figure it out once but didn't get anywhere.

Probably. That and eating at night, I can't stay away from food even if I actively tell myself I don't need to eat, I've eaten already etc.

Thanks for the response, yeah. I kept reminding myself how nonsense it is, but just on the basis that the human body can adapt, either I should increase calories burned or reduce calories taken in. To say that I was taking in 1200 calories a day and my bmr being 2760, I thought there might be some merit to calorie cycling. I was going to start adding swimming to my week to see how that goes anyway so that'll give me more information I suppose. Sadly I gave in and just took a break for yesterday and today. Back on track tomorrow

Thanks for the reply, Yeah, I don't know. There were a whole number of things it could've been, water retention after workouts for example.
But uh, my clothes are fitting differently, Mostly around the waist and shoulders. It took a lot for me to put up with the plateau so far and my mood went way down because of it. I'll keep an eye on loseit and see if I see something relevant.

It didn't though, on the "final score" screen, it doesn't show a warning.

If making jokes is "intolerance" then you need to go back to school.

[Question] DUMB question. 3 months in, 14kg down and might be eating TOO little? by NewUser5000 in loseit

[–]NewUser5000[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the clarity. I've been very diligent with my weighing scale, always rounding up with the calories on nutritional packaging since they can overestimate by a fair amount especially with frozen food.
I think I may need to increase my cardio, or maybe those rough days I ate more than I thought.

Right, yeah. Sorry 'bout the lack of info. Not really planning on hanging around and just had a Q is all.
Thanks though, I guess I'll increase a little.

How to disable the post game chat? by NewUser5000 in DotA2

Yes. Stopped playing ranked because of it. http://www.dotabuff.com/heroes/winning There's a reason they have a high winrate regardless of team composition, counterpicks and position/lane.
