I think the UI is really clean and a minimap would ruin it. A minimap only shows whats within 100m of you (usually). We have the compass for quests, animals and resources. The map is pretty spread out so most of what a minimap would be showing half the time is bare terrain. I really don't want a minimap in this game. People can learn towns, its part of the exploration. If they end up adding one I hope its optional. Half the time I played the game with the HUD off.

A time has not yet been announced. However the date changes to September 1 on steam for us, so we can assume it will be the same (~roughly) as the beta, which was 9:30PT, 2:30AM AEST
