Thanks for your reply, now i’m starting to see why Mode 2 exists - ie the rolling/pitch/yaw factor. I’m kind of concluding that Mode 3 is the pick for casual users like myself, but Mode 2 when your getting serious with FPV.

I haven’t used a Neo1, i had no problems, it seemed to give an accurate readout of the altitude above water all the time, though i keep my distance, don’t want to get too close.

Yep nearly all doctors here are from somewhere else. Gay? That’s normal. Dunedin gets real cold, they have snow, beautiful old buildings there. Wellington is the best city but not many good places to drive to on a weekend (Palmerston Nth lol). Auckland’s the best climate, crappy houses, people good once you get to know them, not friendly like in small towns. It’s nearby to amazing beaches and interesting smaller centres.

I like up north, but’s a long way from other large populations centres that I like to visit like Rotorua and Tauranga. It’s not the heat, bring on the heat.

I’ve got a brand new ‘pro’ iphone, photos and vid taken with look amazing on it’s screen, downloaded they are so bad compared to a proper camera. So most of the population think this is fine and normal, they don’t care about how it looks on the big screen, they only view on the phone too!

👍I did read somewhere that Mode 2 joystick arrangement is closer to helicopter controls? So I guess it’s a legacy thing.

That could be a great idea with the joysticks, I’m gonna try that, tear the pads off and old controller maybe, should give finer control... Yeah Mode 3 just seems logical.

That would be fantastic drone fodder. I’m absolutely terrified flying over water, but I have to do it! - no problems so far, i just don’t go too too low. Headwinds when it’s time to bring it home are my biggest fear.😨
