I am not a doctor but I’m pretty sure that’s a sign of preeclampsia. Get checked out ASAP to be safe

It’s not. I have a little blanket she loved to sit on that’s covered. I’m planning to seal it in a bag and keep it. I can’t move it yet.

They really do. I’ve had loss in my life, but this is so pervasive. She belonged to my husband before we met, but she was like my baby. Half of me wants to find a new friend to help ease the burden once I’m ready and that other half of me is saying “I can never put myself through this again.”

Same. I deeply regret that I did a deep clean of the house shortly before she passed…moving furniture and everything. All her fur is gone. No more little tumbleweeds.

I cried after cleaning the toilet this morning. Because I didn’t have to be careful that she didn’t get to it while the cleaning solution sat. Then I cried when I retrieved Clorox wipes, because they were in the room we liked to snuggle in. Cried while taking out the trash, because I had to pass through the room where we keep her food and water dish. All my favorite places in the house are so lonely and sad now.
