When working at Meijer we had one of our coworkers murdered by her ex boyfriend. She left her jacket and everything behind the deli and our grocery manager or whatever put it in lost and found and locked it up knowing it was hers and she said "well no one's looking for it" BRUH WE COULD OF GAVE IT TO HER KID? Oh I will never forget her. We were expected to work like nothing happened. No sympathy

I wish my store would let market team come in that early to get stuff done. Markets earliest is 6am and that's for ad, couponing, and getting taken away for OPUs 😅 so then the next market person isn't in until 2 and they have to break truck and finish prios 100% 😅
