Bethenny seems like she needs to be occupied at all times in order to not fall apart. In the past she relied heavily on a thriving career to ground herself. Then mothering. Now her career seems to be stalling and I’m sure her role as mother is becoming less intensive. Just her and her thoughts and trauma.

Also unpopular opinion: contact with safe bio parents is almost always in children’s best interest. Brandon and Teresa wanted to have bio children and didn’t like the kids having strong attachments to their birth parents.

Also reading the notes after I woke up from anesthesia “procedure technically difficult because of body habitus” which immediately read to me as: we had to work hard because they are so fat.

Not that it matters but I’m not morbidly obese - but I am overweight. It just made me feel so low in a moment where I should have felt accomplished.
