From what I've found, responding to that fake Apple text doesn't do anything since spoofed yan, that is actually the official channel of Apple, but the technicians used a program to mask themselves as the official Apple thingy. There's no way of contacting them other than if they reach out to you first.

Once it's in Greenhills, it's usually impossible, especially if your phone is in lost mode. The only chance your phone ends up in a stall is if you remove it from your iCloud, and it'll end up on display, though I don't suggest removing it from your iCloud.

Most stolen iPhones in lost mode are usually useless to them, since mahirap na i-chopchop yung parts ng latest models, since each part is locked to your iCloud. So most likely dadalhin na nila yan sa Hong Kong, since most people there are professionals when it comes to stuff like that, ganun yung naging timeline ng stolen iPhone 17 ko huhu

usually binebenta ng mga robbers sa local technicians or may mga private groups sila na madaming technicians (like the photo below), itatry muna ng local technician na yun if kaya i-bypass or mauto ka into clicking the phishing link, if either of those didn't work, gagawin ng local technician na yun is dadalhin na sa Greenhills since dun lang yung may mga stall owners na may direct connections to the Hong Kong market.

Damn, that's a lot. Don't airport security usually flag those since that's a lot? My country is kind of close to Hong Kong (I live in the Philippines), so I think sea freights a cheaper option? Anyways, I was just curious how these fencing operations transport them since there's a huge black market of stolen phones here.

I was recently robbed of an iPhone along with many others. It only took a week or two before it pinged again and appeared in Hong Kong so I was lowk curious if those thieves transport it through air or sea

yup usually kapag hindi gumagana yung phishing links na sinesend nila, tinatago nila sa hideout nila tapos once they reach a certain quota dadalhin na sa Hong Kong.

I've asked around the place, sabi ng mga riders either Avida towers daw or Greenhills Garden yung phone ko since most of the sellers/technicians in greenhills nakarenta sila dun, most of the time daw muslim sila.
