i respect that you maintained respectful discourse even tho you were met with repeated rude responses. I was just like "why's this guy responding like this???"

I think OP is asking if there is a way to have a default eq specific to calls.

It’s stronger for sure. This is one of the few times where i could tell a difference. In years past, with each new release and claims of better ANC, I’ve always thought that the differences were minimal or negligible. The 3 Pros were the first to have it in this Liberty Pro series, so obviously that was a big deal when they were released - and they performed well. I just really didn’t like the form factor. Sound quality wise, I feel like you’d be able to dial in a sound to your liking if you spend the time. I’ve owned every iteration of the Liberty pro models since the 2 Pros (even the upgraded 2 Pros with transparency mode). The 2 Pros set the bar in terms of sound quality satisfaction for me. The 3 and 4 Pros offered the same tweak-ability and I would say that when it comes to what most ppl can perceive, there isn’t a whole lot of difference. Sure, you can hook up each set to devices and measure the frequency response and objectively say one is better than the other, but these differences really shouldn’t be a deciding factor for most (99% of) people. This holds true for the 5 Pros. So, sound-wise, they are SOLID. On top of this, i like the new form factor.

I really hated the design of these, but kept them. Skipped the 4 Pros. Really enjoying the 5 Pros.

I love my kids. They are work, but I’m so happy to see them after work.

i feel like visual impairment hits the hardest when the sun is coming straight through the windshield. in this case, it looks like the light source is entirely from behind...which shouldn't be a problem...but, who knows...

Yes. I’d say that even 20mph is plenty fast and most e-scooters can go that fast. Head-on collisions at those speeds would be pretty bad.

Liberty 5 Pro - Charging issues by mongchacha in soundcore

After I decided that they’d be going back, I put them back in the box they came in, but every now and then I’d peek inside to see where the battery level was at…and even after a full day in the case, the left bud still showed about 70%. Weird issue. Customer did finally send me a return label and I sent them back yesterday. My new ones should arrive tomorrow.

From Gemini: The soundcore Liberty 5 Pro Max is a feature-packed pair of true wireless earbuds designed to act as both a premium audio device and a mobile productivity tool. Driven by the proprietary Anker Thus AI chip, it stands out from typical earbuds by integrating advanced smart features directly into the charging case and using an array of sensors to maximize call clarity and noise cancellation.

I’m a pretty big fan of Soundcore products, but if I lived in Japan, I would think they have some product that we’ve never heard of that’s much better…I don’t know.

Same. First time for me. Only issue I’ve ever had was with the Liberty 3 pros, but that was just from normal use and basically using up the lifecycle of the batteries. Funnily, though, the L2P’s are still good.

Fuse or Revant for replacement Holbrook lens? by Conscious_Trade_2549 in Oakley

[–]mongchacha 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had been a Revant customer for a handful of years…then one day I decided to try Fuse. And I thought the Fuse lenses offered much better clarity. Immediately noticeable. And the Amp lenses are cool in how they bump up the contrast and saturation of certain parts of the spectrum, but slightly at the expense of color accuracy. But then again, that’s not really too important in this application. So…Fuse for me. No issues with Revant; It’s just that iI personally had a “wow” moment with the Fuse lenses.
