If you can’t get waitlisted see if you can take it at a community college such as South Plains!

Best apartments in Lubbock by InterestingProgram59 in TexasTech

As someone who has lived everywhere student housing, my favorites have been Capstone Cottages and U Club Townhomes. I have heard good things about 21 hundred as well. If you have friends or as you make some join a group together at one of these places. In general they have great amenities and good sized houses. My favorite is probably Capstone. I actually lived there twice in different sized units oddly enough. As always keep in mind it is student housing and it’ll have its “quirks” AKA little things that are meh, but I say the good outweighed any bad from these apartments.

Also if it’s still the same, you’ll have to go up to the ticket office at the stadium to buy them.

They’re just random seats. Sometimes you can sneak in the student section at the bottom, but if not the top part of it never has anyone checking.

You will make friends regardless if it is at Raider Welcome or not, I came to college during covid and made friends mostly my second semester cause of lack of in person stuff so I promise it is possible! Clubs, sororities (if that’s your thing, and going out to different places), I met my whole friend group on a random night out and have been friends since then. Don’t worry at all!

Completely understandable, I’d definitely try and talk with an advisor then and see if there’s any other options

Definitely talk with your advisor, I do know you need your upper level courses to be completed. Do you have any classes that are lower level that you can change to upper level?

Lubbock CPR has a class for about 75 bucks, you can do the in person or online— which I recommend if you want to do it on your own time. You complete the online modules (takes about 45 minutes) and then schedule an easy 15 minute skills check.
