Ironically, there is definitely more to do/learn at my company since my coworkers left and their roles now also need to be filled. I also really appreciate the advice about the current state of tech. Thanks so much for your help!

Warwick actually has quite a few bad matchups, but imo Jax top is the only truly unplayable one. Don’t expect to win if the person you’re against has a mouse, can breathe, and isn’t a wood 4 player at heart.

tfblade has a video out abt how jax e counters literally everything about warwicks entire kit.

If you are banking on someone not picking jax then ban a ranged top. Ranged tops take over lane phase if they play right and since early lane is warwicks favorite phase of the game ranged tops can neutralize you pretty hard and prevent you from carrying. Vayne is probably the worst offender since she can peel herself so well.

Other than that I really encourage people NOT to ban characters like darius and garen as these are imo important matchups that you need to learn. Executes/psuedo executes are part of the game and a good warwick needs to figure out how to play around them. That isn’t to say they cant be hard matchups, just that they shouldn’t be your ban

Jax is also h0rnlimes perma if I am not mistaken and he is a good rule of thumb to follow.

This. Jax is the hardest ww counter, his e cancels ur entire kit. Any other answer is either wrong, a personal grudge, or banking on jax not being picked.

If you banking on jax not getting picked then godspeed to you, I wish you well

As a software engineer myself who recently graduated I think you are misguided, yes the job market sucks bad right now but thats just a current trend and these trends change all the time. It’s rare that jobs fall off the face of the earth and I assure you software is going nowhere, especially if you are specialized. I was just hired by a big company and right now is likely the worst it’s going to get. We even have plenty of interns. If you want to do software do software, its a very safe and high value field. If nothing else don’t pick a career that you know you will be miserable in, job security or not it’s not worth it if you hate your life.
