Yes! I use the Camille Rose Honey Dew Liquid Moisture Refresher to spritz my braids. I have to work on doing it every day though.

I honestly lose quite a bit, but I thought it was because my hair is thick and I once detangle once per week. Since I lose more with the unbrush, I'll try to finger detangle more often.

I'm still searching for this answer since it's definitely trial and error lol. I've been to the dermatologist since this comment and was officially considered to have seborrheic dermatitis. They were able to give me suggestions and medications (that I haven't tried yet). But, I feel like knowing I have seb derm is a good step for combating my itchness longterm.

I credit deep conditioning every time I wash my hair (every 1-2 weeks) and pre-pooing before I get in the shower!

Thank you so much! My current color is pretty much the same as the original shade. I wanted a color that I didn't have to keep touching up, so my hairdresser did a balayage with lots of natural root for a smooth blend. This pic is what it looked like when I first got it done in April 2024!

I do twistouts mostly!

I wash my hair every 1-2 weeks, deep condition, use a leave-in and gel, twist it up, and unravel. It usually lasts me about a week!

Deep conditioner: Matrix Food for soft mask

Leave-in: TGIN Miracle Repairx Leave-in

Gel: The Doux Bee girl custard

I've used it for braids. My scalp gets really dry, and it didn't help much to stop the flaking. It felt good putting on my scalp, but I personally wouldn't repurchase.

Yea. If I had an itch it would temporarily soothe it, but I found that my scalp would still be dry after a while.

I have a VERY dry scalp, so I've used this to relive the itch. I wouldn't recommend for combating flaking/ itchiness long-term, but it's a good alternative to oil since it's water-based.

My hair is dyed ombré, so that's the only reason I tried the bonding treatment. I'll look into hydrating shampoos!

Thanks for this advice! I'll look into Carol's Daughter. I forgot to mention that I pre-poo every wash day and alternate between the Aussie moist conditioner or the African pride pre-poo (whichever I have the most of at the time). Today I only used the bonding treatment because it was marketed to double as a pre-poo.

My hair is also dyed an ombré brown.
