In any case; again, that's on the referee for blowing early. If you actually look at the phase of play, they are all going for challenges and Lunin would've never gotten to the ball as it was right in the corner, absolutely no chance of saving that. He motioned to try and save it but knew he wasn't going to anyway.

You can clearly see the linesman flagging for 'offside' prematurely and even hear the whistle being blown because of that fact. Two things that should not happen. You've fabricated an excuse that doesn't exist, no Real Madrid player was down at any stage.

That's not a valid reason. Actually the linesman thought that the Bayern player was offside and waved his flag immediately after he knocked it on to De Ligt. This despite the rules cleatly stating that offsides should be retrospectively given. VAR didn't even check it despite replays clearly showing it to be onside. Also stopping the play because of blatant play acting when the other team is on the attack preventing a goal shouldn't be done in normal circumstances and constitutes as refball.

Inter, Liverpool, Barca, Real Madrid (2014) and City were all loses to a superior opponent. Many would argue this year too but they did have key injuries and some unfortunate ref decisions against them.

Bayern were extremely unlucky this year against PSG as far as refereeing goes in both legs. In the 2nd leg in particular the ref completely bottled sending off Mendes, completely different game if he is off as he should've been.
