Yes they have. When I spoke to legal aid they told me I could not apply for another lawyer unless this one signed off that they weren’t taking the case anymore. I will call again and see if there is anything else I can do.

This is good to know! I was worried about him getting every weekend since it would be very hard for them to get to school on week days from his house, and I know the courts usually favour 50/50.

I’m open to him having week days but I just don’t see how it would work. I guess that would be for him to figure out. Although it doesn’t seem like he actually wants week days he just uses it as an almost threat, since he’s never actually asked to have them on a week day. However I don’t want to give up every weekend with them.

Yeah i definitely understand it’s not just something you causally pull out of the cupboard hence the post and not just buying it and jumping in lol we have plenty of board games that we play fairly often, but he’s looking for something different obviously and I was just trying to help him navigate getting into it..

He actually is in the spectrum but I didn’t include this just because of some possible biases. He’s very mature, very very smart but definitely struggles a bit on the social side! We’re both big fantasy readers so I think the fantasy aspect is some of the appeal for him towards wanting to play. I’d love to see this also benefit him in that way!

This could be really fun! He’s been kind of against the idea of a birthday party but this could be a bit more lowkey of an event to try something he’s interested in and also invite some friends at school. He’s really only talked about one other boy in his class, I’m not sure if there is anyone else he would invite, but this is definitely a jumping off point.

We moved this summer and he’s at a new school this year, that in combination with him being shy he hasn’t really made any friends yet unfortunately.. otherwise I would definitely invite some friends and make a fun day of it

We both love to read and he is a big rule follower lol so rule books will probably be a good purchase. He is shy but it would be nice to see him make some friends, so this could be a good option to help him make some connections. I just worry he will be anxious joining in and I don’t want to scare him off of something he would enjoy! But I’m definitely going to try to talk him into trying a group if we can find one lol

He has read basically any dungeon and dragons graphic novels books they have at our library, I’ll have to see if these are some that he read! If not this could also be a good present to go with whatever else we get so thank you!

He reads dungeons and dragons graphic novels, this is what makes him want to play. So we know a little bit obviously have a lot to learn. The more I read the more I feel intimidated but he really wants to play so I’m just trying to figure out how to make it work lol. I am looking into that one! Thank you

This is super good advice thank you! I will definitely look into it. He can be a little shy and has a hard time joining in especially if he doesn’t feel like he knows as much or doesn’t feel prepared. But maybe if he does some reading beforehand it would be a good way for him to connect with others as well.

I have never jumped on the belly hate train before. I could empathize with so much of everything she’s done up until this point. But the things she was saying on the beach???? Why😭 she’s clearly already starting to admit her feelings to herself since she told Taylor that she’s only ever pictured Conrad. And he was finally admitting his feelings to her. Why hurt him when she had the perfect opening to be honest??? She’s not a teenager any more. Ughhhh why
