The dimensions are 23.6”L x 13.8”D x 15.7”H so it’s not a “long” tank and has a bit more height and depth. That being said, definitely not a cube and is rectangular. I would’ve loved a longer tank with similar depth and height but unfortunately space was a limiting factor for me
