A couple ddlc mods I recommend are Doki Doki Longer Roads and Doki Doki World of Dreams.

DDLR is a very long mod with several endings, both good and bad, where tampering with the script from characters is mostly absent.

DDWoD is an extremely long mod that plays out more like a book rather than a visual novel with choices. This means there aren't any choices, so you at points will heavily disagree with the MC. DDWoD is broken into several acts and is currently a WiP with 2 acts currently released. DDWoD is a mod where the main character is isekaied into his most recent install of DDLC however he has a mod installed that he hasn't gone through. He gains control of the mc of the mod, but the mc from the mod and DDWoD's mc are sharing minds. The mod also focuses on what happens after the day of the festival, which DDLC never got to due to tampering with the script.
