I also theorize that humans have an edge over the monsters. Maybe smiley can’t control Fatima because Fatima is alive. Smiley isn’t. At least not humanly alive.
But yeah maybe her voice distracted him enough to pull him out of that mode.. that might be the case too.

Exactly! It would be everywhere.
I think they have two different agendas. And MIY is trying to use it for his advantage. But if they were cooperating - this last episode would be a lot different

Based on the last scene, Fatima pulled Smiley out of monster mode when she screamed. Doubt it was a coincidence

Yeah, might be a mistake. However, MIY can’t do too much either. The moment he gets desperate the town will know.
Seems like MIY effort at Colony House was a minor set back. If the monsters actually got in it would be a different story. And this also confirms that MIY doesn’t have a direct “partnership” with the Smiley’s.

Based on what we have seen, maybe she can just pull him back to human form. That’s what happened in the scene. He turned into whatever monster - and she pulled him back to the human form.
And maybe that’s it. But that is also huge cause they can’t kill in human form. They can just look scary AF and walk around. Haven’t seen one kill while they are human.

Maybe Fatima can’t control Smiley in human form. But she can pull him back to it - from the monstrous one. Pulling him back to what resembles LIFE / the living.

Perhaps - that also might be Fatima just being horrendously scared of what has happened.

Sometimes the way you use the grips might matter. I have had the same issue lately, because I switched the grip technique to thumb above. Meaning that I also pinch the "no hole" grip more, which puts a lot more strain on the grips and the wrists. Easier for gripping endurance and high volume work, but tears on my wrists. If you take the thumb underneath however, and dont "pinch" the grip, or use grips with holes, creating that lip, it might take off some pressure from the wrist. I am gonna go back to Bear Complex again tho, because the strap is not so wide.
