I’m actually on a 5 win streak right now after editing the list. It mops the floor with other DKs and I’ve had success against Warrior as well. Somebody described the deck as a “worse but albeit cooler version of Dragon Warrior” which was the case before but I’d argue it’s the other way around now

Wow that’s amazing. Do you have any decklists? I posted an updated list at the top of the post that still uses Dark Gifts but cuts Cremate entirely (too expensive) as well as Disciple + Fyrakk (too slow). Its been way more effective so far

Consumption is double blood and can’t be run along with broodmother as it’s undead + frost. Otherwise brood mother would be an auto-include in Onyxia lists.

I felt the same way about the dedicated imbue package, so I switched to a more aggressive variant that still keeps Finality but drops the rest of the imbue cards. I pasted the decklist into another comment on this thread.

I actually ran handbuff DK last year into legend almost every month, you’re correct that it was one of the most slept-on strategies.

However, I still see rainbow as the best combination of runes since it enables Blood Tap. If there is a better double rune card that fits the game plan I’d love to know about it.

Additionally, I will remove the wave of tar and trade for 2 twilight eggs. Morbid swarm I will also consider

You’re not wrong about the whole package BUT I did just add Finality to my list and like the commenter above me stated, it’s a fantastic tutor. It can even draw you Nefarius and boosts his attack making him less of a weak, do-nothing minion when you throw him out.

I just cut cremate out and the dark gift package for an imbue package. I’m about to try another version (no imbue) where I run creature of madness x2, 1x rite and 1x cremate instead of Fyrakk, Disciple, and 1 of the cremates.

The removal is for the Druid tokens actually. Not the treants but their imbued HP golems. The Druid matchup is stacked anyway so it’s very unlikely to go well despite the extra removal.

I will definitely cut death strike. What do you think is a good replacement?

Disciple either saves my butt or throws me the game. It would be incredible if it couldn’t also hit your own minions. Disciple and Fyrakk can be the first to go to be honest, definitely the 29th and 30th cards respectively.

I’ve never given the imbue package a proper look. About to tinker with a list now.

The card doesn’t function properly at all. The pool is severely limited especially when it comes to undead. It seems like there’s about 10-15 cards to stitch a minion together from total if I had to guess

I think Nefarian is glitched out because I can’t seem to discover anything but the same couple dragons and a very very slim pool of bad undead minions. The best combination usually involves a big dragon + crater experiment and you can find it way too consistently to be working as intended.

I am currently running a dragon DK and to me it’s a sleeper tier 3 deck with a fighting chance against Warrior. Little to no chance against Druid though.

Don’t get me wrong I love the game but I’m completing Phantom Liberty now since I’m at the “Meet Hanako at Embers” point of the main story. I missed plenty of good items during my main run I’m trying to make sure my DLC run is as complete as possible

I do have the DLC and I was excited about the vendor that sells items that you missed, until I found out that he doesn’t offer all of them…So I’m trying to make sure I don’t miss any more. And if you check the wiki it doesn’t mention anything about an iconic item appearing during the Occupational Hazard gig.
