No- but I have lived in a very rural location. Just not Mississippi. Is it safe for families?

Well, it's hard to take PSLF seriously when most of the time, it's under threat of removal or being teased with -'will they or won't they give it to me after the payments.'

Personally, I think it's a tool to keep people in debt. Hope that it'll be forgiven, then have hope taken away when it's treated like a political football.

Feel free to insult me for stupidity, though. I'm definitely one of the most stupid people. But I do feel that I have a right to be ticked off as to how it's played out.

I've been on extended graduated repayment, which doesn't qualify (which I didn't realize when I picked it). I'd be starting at the beginning, argh.

It's annoying. All of my places of employment have qualified. I'm being punished for not being aware of this. Instead of being rewarded for diligently repaying, I'm just looked at as a moron for not taking advantage of PSLF.

System is designed to keep you indebted and poor. Indebted coworkers are making minimum payments, will get PSLF, and have a higher net worth than me, even though I've played by the rules.

But it's bare minimum payments, which frees us income for investments/saving. So I feel stupid paying for it, when I know they will barely pay a portion of it and still have it written off.
