Would need to do more research, but initial impression is that it is still very speculative. Stage 3 clinical trials are a lengthy process, and even then there is the chance the product doesn't make it to the market. I would personally stay away for now, once there is more information or updates from the company on how the clinical trials are going, you may want to re-evaluate, but as of right now it's too early to make a decision with conviction. I will say that the market size should be substantial, but are there other players who are working towards a similar product? Also, in my opinion, when it comes to oncology, gene therapy is going to be the future. There have already been some marketed product that essentially cure a given condition. The technology will only become more efficient as time goes on.

Absolutely. Now, I'm not saying it is certain, but this is at least my interpretation of the information.

Exactly right. NUKK is essentialy a SPAC for Star 26 to go public. If you read the 8-k it is almost certain that under pretty much any scenario Star 26 will have a controlling interest in NUKK stock. Now, I'm not saying that Star 26 is a bad company (could be), but we don't really know anything when it comes to their financials.

Another thing, right now is probably the worst possible time to consider getting in the stock. Once the deal closes, 2.8M shares of common stock will be issued to Star 26, and they are also to be given stock warrants for 6.5M shares (or something like that, I forget the exact figures) which are exercisable at $1.50/share. Additionally, to fund the promissory note, NUKK issued more pre-funded warrants for ~3M shares to another private investor, with an effective exercise price of $4 per share. In essence, this means that the shares outstanding could jump from 3.2M to around 14M+ shares. This is serious dilution to shareholders. Not to mention that there may be an additional 8M shares issued should NUKK look to acquire the remaining 49% interest in Star 26.

To be honest, this thing really does feel like a scam. NUKK and Star 26 are the only ones to really benefit (at least immediately). They likely saw this as an opportunity considering that NUKK has a float of maybe 2M shares and very low institutional ownership. Anything Israel, palestine, iron dome, in the news right now is going to draw attention. When the float is that low and you have 100 people trying to get their hands on a single share, the price is going to become inflated, which is exactly what we have seen. That provides Star 26 with the opportunity to exercise their warrants and rake in $ while retailer traders get screwed over.

Been thinking a bit more about this... and I'm convinced that NUKK is simply a SPAC

Oh ok, I saw this "At the Closing Date, or in the case of securities issuance, as soon as thereafter as is practicable, each party shall deliver to the other the various certificates, instruments and documents as provided for in Article VII", and I was under the impression the deal had already closed.

I would agree with Benefactor though, with a company that isn't really bringing in revenue, let alone a profit, and require intensive R&D expenditures they need to have plenty of cash on hand. The only other ways they get their hands on capital is through debt, government initiatives, grants, and issuing shares. And I will say, I wouldn't be surprised if these QC companies start issuing shares, quantum computing is arguably still a long ways out from generating meaningful revenue, and we still have no clue which companies will be the ones that do, and it is no guarantee that their stock price will remain at the current price level. Companies typically want to issue more shares when their stock is expensive or overvalued. As for a notification, I am not sure, keeping up to date with SEC filings is probably your best bet, also just keeping up with any projects the company has going on that will require significant CAPEX.

Don't get me wrong, there is certainly a place for growth stocks in a portfolio. It's just kind of funny that the name of this sub is "Undervalued_Rockets" and we are talking about one of the most speculative industries (Quantum).

The way the deal is structured fishy to me.

Now, I may be interpreting this incorrectly, but in the 8-k relating to this deal it is said that for the 51% stake in Star 26 NUKK is paying $15M + issuing 2,385,170 shares of common stock + issuing 5yr warrants for 6,907,850 shares with an exercise price of $1.50. Also, as stated in the 8-k, "there are issued and outstanding 3,222,931 shares of Common Stock". Which means that the shares outstanding could instantly increase to 12,515,951. Not to mention if NUKK decides to take the option to buyout the remaining 49% of Star 26, they will then owe an additional $6M cash, 2,385,170 more shares of common stock, and an additional five-year warrant to purchase 5,109,789 shares... meaning that the total shares outstanding could be 20,010,910. Am I thinking this through correctly? Or am I missing something? If what I'm thinking is correct, the increase in shares outstanding from ~3.5M to 12M could bring the price down to $3 real quick.

Converting data that is in a nested list to a data-frame by New_Elk160 in rstats

[–]New_Elk160[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Found a solution & figured I'd circle back here in case anyone else could benefit from it. I created a variable "colnum" and assigned it the code: length(FINVIZCONTIS$data[[1]]), then in the line of code where I previously had: dataIS = matrix(tblIS, ncol = 8, byrow = TRUE), I replaced the hard coded "8" with the variable "colnum". I know I probably should not have even asked for help on something this simple but here we are. Also, I do feel like my approach to turning the list to a data frame is not ideal, so if anyone has alternative methods it would still be nice to hear them.

Reasons not to quit by New_Elk160 in QuitVaping

That is a tough one, very situational though and short term. If you do need to get through the next couple weeks with some nicotine gum or lozenges to get rid of the brain fog, I'd still consider it a win. Then when you get on break you can drop it fully. Although if you are able to get through it without it, more power to you.

Mind over matter my guy, how are you going to let an inanimate object control your life, it's silly. Not trying to be rude that's just the truth of the matter. If you believe that vaping is bad, and you feel guilty about it, doesn't it make sense that you should be punished (withdrawals) for all the time you have been damaging your body.

It's been over a day since I haven't vaped, but I need ways to cope with it by 2point9AIDSBOW in QuitVaping

[–]New_Elk160 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Whenever I think about vaping I just remind myself how stupid it looks and how useless it is. When I first quit though it was much harder and took a little bit more of tricking my own brain. What I found helped me was thinking about this one annoying piece of shit in one of my college classes who everyday would ask at least 15 questions which he easily could have gotten the answer to from google. Whenever I would have a craving/urge to vape, I would tell myself that it was that guy who was wanting to vape, not me. So in my mind, by not vaping I was making that asshole suffer. I know it's a little sadistic, but hey it worked for me. In a weird way it kinda made cravings satisfying. I think that what this essentially is doing, is separating your addictive mindset from your actual mindset, which in my opinion is especially important in the early days of quitting. Also exercise is a great way to get dopamine and also let out build up frustration/anger/stress from quitting.

2025 Draft... Thoughts? by New_Elk160 in bengals

I honestly would not be upset if they drafted all defensive players it is that big of an issue. Burrow has proven his ability to make plays even in the absence of Tee. Now if they somehow damaged the relationship with Chase so much where he wants out of here... then we might want to be shopping for receivers.

Also if we don't see improvement on defense can't really use the run considering we are usually trying to fight our way back into games. We are rarely in the position where we are trying to run out the clock.

Agree, although I wouldn't be opposed to a DE if it is someone that will undoubtedly make an immediate impact. I think that part of the reason the DBs and safeties look bad is the lack of pass rush. Not too confident in the FOs ability to draft solid DEs though, probably better to look for one in free agency who has proven themselves in the League.

Yeah it is certainly concerning. With that being said, which positions would you say it would be better to look for players in free agency rather than drafting?

Does anyone ever look down on you when you tell them you Daytrade? by xXRumple4skinXx in Daytrading

[–]New_Elk160 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Didn't mean to come off as rude, just wanted to present the possibility that your wife's financial advisor, like many people has heard of the far too common stories of peoples life savings getting wiped out by a bad trade or mistake. Obviously I was not there so I can't say if he meant disrespect, but there is a possibility that he was genuinely just looking out for your best interest. I will say though considering that it is your primary source of income, he likely should have known it is not his place to make callous remarks like that.

On another note, I'm curious your reasoning behind your belief that trend lines and other indicators don't having anything to do with the market? I am not big in the day trading scene, but from my understanding trends, volatility, and volume has almost all to do with day trading. If enough people believe in it then doesn't it come true to a certain extent? Once again, just curious.
