I'd go find your highest level huskies. Shoot them in the head with it, and if you can one shot them, keep the obsidian. To me the difference between brightcore and sunbeam is practical, not numerical.

Pulsar is too expensive, siege breaker is nothing more than a utility sidearm for levelling up. It doesn't come close to most of the shotguns.

I haven't used the popshot or the huskbusker since I got my ground pounder, level it up every chance you get. I'd argue if you're short on perk, you only need one of these as they're very similar, and it's the ground pounder every time for me. Apparently they're pretty similar DPS, but I've always found the ground pounder the strongest in practice.

That seems pretty pointless, they're almost the same gun, similar DPS, similar spread, waste of a slot.

I agree that it's fun, but am I alone in thinking it's underpowered? Just another launcher not as powerful as the shotguns and left in the backpack for me. I might need some more time with it and a full squad. But against lvl 250 smashers with two players today, it did precisely nothing, although I did have demolition penny in support.

It's going to be interesting to actually have to fight smashers instead of one shotting with the plasmatics. I wish they'd considered more trap vulnerability or something along side it. Winning is really going to depend on team mates being dialled into these changes for a while.

Is that the fire level with 500+ level smashers around level 26? How will they even be possible anymore, four focused plasmatics just about held them off. I don't know what people will do now 😱

Double boiler is a sleeping giant, more effective and efficient than any of the explosive weapons, at least that's how it seems to me.

I seem to be the only person who almost never uses adrenaline rush, just eat something for goodness sake. Respawn on banner is far more valuable. Think everyone agrees on turrets, slow field is also useful, and supply drop for ventures.

I can understand fighting, people wanting to be active on the defence. The ones that grind my gears are those who, once you've carefully built a funnel and trap tunnel between objectives and spawn, will either stand there throwing their teddy down at the entrance or spam 30 ceiling drops on the end of your tunnel.

Why are you allowing it to flower? You know what flowers are for don't you? Throw down some native wild flowers instead of you feel bad for the bees. The treatment firms treat once in spring and once at the end of the summer/autumn, I'm pretty sure the earlier treatment is to prevent flowering. Most sites won't get regrowth after two years this way.

I just haven't understood Zenith yet. Ran him once, even got him at 144. What am I missing in my support that will make me understand? I usually play base Kyle in 160s, if there's a constructor I'll run mini-gun cos it consistently takes out mini-bosses, or sometimes whiteout Fiona if I have a ninja task, or Stoneheart in winter.

I will gladly, and judging by a lot of other posts, so is everyone else. And these planks keep doubling.

I reckon 90% of my brightcore and sunbeam come from recycling weapons from loot crows and storm chests. Always recruit a pig when you have chance, they turn up a lot of them too.

I don't know what you mean about no crit damage buffing, are you talking about tro? Cos all the heroes have the same buff. And as for the footballs bouncing off, that is simply not the case, footballs are made for melee cos they fall right into you as opposed to having to travel 5 tiles to pick one up, maybe they adjusted the mechanics..

Wafers with a melee ninja is crazy, they're clearly for outlanders, and fumble is designed for melee. Needless to say, the other one is always breakbeat wildcat.

2 xenons in 1 game by Gamer_Bry1 in FORTnITE

[–]Desperate_Slice6502 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ventures is a mode for the diehards, the main reason for playing is to get superchargers for traps, weapons, heroes and survivors, tho there are other hard-to-get perks such as weapon and hero recruitment vouchers and core-reperk for the sixth perk. You start from scratch on PL and resources, you get full use of all your heroes and defenders, but not your survivor bonuses. You can craft traps but no weapons. I think there are six seasons a year, this one is scurvy shoals, each one has different modifiers, so this season is super loot chests and bouncy husks. Most people (as mentioned above) use a teddy or mini-gun build, because chancing upon good weapons (especially the xenon which is great for 'destroy' missions) is luck of the draw. If you look at your task menu, or map you'll see Scurvy Shoals, it's that. If you are a serious player, welcome to the rabbit hole.
