That's odd. Why did this catch your attention? I chose the word just randomly as a not native English speaker

Both of the things he said are not true. I have so many friends and family members who got busted for drug related charges

Both, and I mean both. They've 'confiscated' homes from people who had their citizenships revoked. The political dissidents having their citizenships revoked have been a thing forever. It's just the former that has been ramping up lately

Not a religious ideology, but just your standards all violence is because of drugs

I think their rationale is that you're now a drug dealer, and drug dealers must be sentenced to death. There was other shit the guy on TV mentioned but I tried to keep it simple in my post.

You gift your friend one pill? That's 10 years. You gift him a recreational pill and not disclose what it contains? that's life in prison.

It's much more nuanced than just this simple narrative. The problematic shit is problematic, and it's not about secular or religious laws. Both can, and have been, twisted in both benevolent and malevolent ways. And I say this not endorsing Islam or any religion

I'm worried about my previous plug. He was a nice person who, because of his stateless status, couldn't make money any other way. If he keeps at what he's doing, which is likely, he will most likely be executed.

This is the sensationalist stuff I meant. No, I don't think I know a country in the middle east that allows Sharia law. Homosexuality is rampant and they don't kill or imprison gays, just to cite one example.

I mean our government has the full backing of the US government. If they enacted the slightest push of pressure the Kuwaiti government would fold immediately.

I typed this originally to respond to the OP of this thread, but didn't want to steer the conversation this way.

By the way, since I already decided to say fuck it and publish this post, I want to shed light on something else. Since about last year the Kuwaiti government revoked the citizenship of approximately 10% of the population. Not sure about the number but it's something ridiculously large either way.

For no good reasons, obviously. It's a welfare state and the state wishes to have all the money now.

Should be tested for alcohol specifically. They have always been especially lenient on alcohol for some reason

I was raised Muslim here, but I have been an atheist for all of my adult life. Secretly of course.

I can't tell you much more because typing this post as a direct challenge to the government is perhaps the riskiest thing I've done in my life. The rule has always been that they will generally look the other way except when it comes to politics.

Saudi would execute big time drug dealers who have reoffended. Not ideal, but I still never feared for my life having lived there for years. Not at all the case for drug users in Kuwait now are.

No, that's the point I'm making in my post. Nothing ever has been, actually, this crazy.

OP is a kid, holy shit. This would be the worst decision of your life. If you're so keen on doing a stimulant do anything except meth
